From the plethora of awesome quotes available, how does one go about selecting a favorite?
“All you can do, is all you can do.” – me
“People are people, and will do what they do.” – me
“doesn’t matter what you see, or into it what you read; you can do it your own way: if it’s done just how i say!” – Metallica
“you said all this time that you would die for me; why then are you so surprised to hear your own eulogy?” -MJK (Tool)
Yeah there’s just too many. I can’t pick a favorite quote ever, and then declare myself married to it. There is no one single phrase or statement that encompasses all wisdom. If there were, i’d probably choose that as my favorite, because it’s easy and efficient to parrot a phrase, and justifiable if it’s universally applicable.
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest” – Confucius
