How do i be happy celebrating the day I was given life when all I really want to do is take it away? Well…It’s not as if I’m really expecting an answer. I just wanted to let that out.
A friend once told me, if you pray to god real hard for something you really want, then he’ll grant you your wish. I’ve been wishing for a long time. But maybe I’m not wishing or praying hard enough. It’s made me wonder…do I even believe in god anymore?

None of us know the mind of God.
What I have experienced in my life is that I have often hated a situation, really hated it, whatever it was, wished hard for it to be different….. then only to later (sometimes a lot later) understand it was for the better.
Its in the Bible…..
“all things happen for the good for those who LOVE the Lord”.
If you don’t have God, don’t believe, haven’t accepted Jesus, you only have your stubborness and ignorance to thank for it, really.
What I see here on SP are a lot of folks who hate or don’t believe in God. They suffer in vain, really.
(this isn’t my conclusion, but rather what God has lade clear).
Once an aspirant came to a Zen monk. He asked the monk: “How long will it take me till enlightenment?” The monk indifferently: “Ten years.” The aspirant: “And if I try very hard?” The monk, slightly smiling: “Twenty years.” The aspirant: “And what, if I try harder then anyone has before, meditate every night and every day?” The monk, cynically grinning now: “It will take you thirty years. Now go practicing you ******!”
It’s not so much of expecting god to solve all your problems . If indeed you have faith , you must understand that god made us. Made us self sufficient . He knows you have the power and will to make things happen on you’re own . He gave us that power . Channel the inspiration into actions . And those actions will than reflect back at you again . Give and get . Get and give . Good luck
So you are basically saying people are stubborn and ignorant if they don’t share your personal beliefs. There are plenty of people in this world who don’t believe in the bible and haven’t “accepted Jesus.” Some follow religions other than Christianity, and some simply don’t believe in a god at all. That doesn’t make them stubborn and ignorant, it simply means they chose a different path. It is this type of arrogant, narrow-minded comment that makes some people frustrated with religious zealots.
