Don’t get mental problems it could lead to this.
I have mental problems. I go to therapy alot. But still I cut myself. I make attempts to kill myself. Everyone thinks I’m crazy. I can’t sleep. I don’t talk to anyone at school. (I’m in high school). My mom talks to me and I feel uncomfortable when she does that.
The way I try to kill myself is like this: I take a razor and cut my wrist. It dosen’t work though. Maybe I should use a knife. Once I get the chance I’ll do it.
You might think I’m crazy, or I need to be more hard on myself. Either one is fine. But for one thing I’m not Goth, I’m not Emo, I’m punk. Please understand that.

Sorry it’s so short. :3
If life is making you want to kill yourself, you do not need to be harder on you. You have it hard enough as is. You’re in your teens. Punk etc. is normal. Experiencing changes and new fashions and music, all of it, is normal. I’m sorry you have such pain that you want to die. I’ve been there. I wish you better days and nights.
Love,
Vedura
I also am in High School and it is hell. I do talk but wish i was invisible. I go to therapy and my parents found out I cut and now everyone is walking on egg shells around me.
A long time ago, I watched a youtube video that showed the differences between goth, emo, & punk. I might go look that up again. I learned some interesting stuff and considering living the steam side of it all…..seeing if I could get adopted as Granny Steamer or something. Yeah…umm…forget where I was going with that. Anyway, maybe you’d care to explain the difference for me again? I love learning new things.
Every word Vedura wrote, I second!
FWIW: I’m much older than you and I think its easier talking to people here than my own mother as well.
Goths are really credpy, emos are very emotinal, punks listen to emo music. Hoped this helped!
Does OP like bands like LeftoverCrak or Rancid?
i must be too old, but still consider myself a punk. We considered punks those that listened to punk music……it isn’t completely dead, you can find it. And there’s some kick ass older punk and ska around
@Koji NOFX, Less Than Jake, Sick of it All, Millincollin?;
Ooo and Dropkick Murphys?
@ LostnBroken, hahaha all awesome bands! You a big ska fan too?
Misfits? 🙂
I’m definitely none of those things (goth, emo, punk).
I only like Good music.
Goth: darkness for the sake of being dark. And “guyliner.”
Emo: emotional for the sake of being emotional. And “guyliner.”
Punk: uhh… non-conformist for the sake of being not whatever anyone else is? Rebellion for the sake of rebellion? And tattoos? (which i find visually pleasing, but don’t have any) Honestly, the “punk” culture just confuses me. I sometimes think it doesn’t even really have a meaning. Maybe it’s just what people call themselves to differentiate themselves from anything else. I suppose i could google it…
All i know is, as far as music goes, none of the music i’ve listened to, which wore any of those labels, was ever “my thing.” And i’ve never liked Ska.
I used to walk on cut glass around my family. Egg shells sounds better.
Sweetheart, please understand: you’re NOT crazy, weird or anything. No one is. Please begin to LOVE yourself, I know it’s hard, but please try, because it’ll give you so much. Fuck all those people who make you feel negative, and try to live your own life. Good luck!
