So yesterday morning I decided to talk to my managers and get help. The really listened. One of them drove me to the hospital where I said I wanted to be put on a hold. The doctors ran a few tests and decided that it was best for me to go home. My parents had to get me, and because I’m 19, the doctors didn’t tell my parents anything, so I basically got yelled at by my mom, who won’t really talk to me now. My dad said that he’d look into making me an appointment at the base clinic. But so far, the people at work are the ones I enjoy the most. They ask how I am, they help me. Its nice. Id rather be there all the time.

Good for you. And your moms prob not mad, just worried sick. Prob wished you would talk to her, but that’s your choice.
You did the right thing… Absolutely, positively. Nice going. If by “base clinic” you mean an MTF (Military Treatment Facility), they’ll do whatever they can to help. Just be honest so they have all the info to work with. The MTF near me has a good team… second to none perhaps.
Yes sometimes moms respond in anger out of panic. I think she will come around.
The best thing anyone can do in these situations is talk to people about it. Be honest with them. No one should have to go through stuff like this alone. I’m proud of you.
You’re one year younger than me, yet I feel so much older. *sigh*.
Well, it’s good you decided to open up to your managers and such. I’m glad you get along with the people at your workplace, it appears to be your place of solace and peace. Well, you know what I mean. Give your mum some time, she’s just worried about you I suppose. I mean, I would be too if my child was in the same situation.
I hope all is going well for you.
