everyone says its better to say a hurtful truth than a comforting lie but what if there was no lie to be said at all.. what if you had only hurtful truths to tell someone.. wouldn’t you want to spare them the pain even if it kills you inside

I agree it does seem selfish but that shouldn’t stop you from telling someone. We are only human. None of us can wage war with life’s difficulties alone. It’s in our nature to be dependent on one another. The person who is willing to help you will not look at it like you’re bringing pain into their life. The person who is willing to help will be happy that you came to them. No one with a good heart wants other people to suffer. Do that person the favor of allowing them to help you. It’s also human nature to strive to help each other. It’s what bonds us together.
