I would get thrashed/destroyed/beasted/roflsquashed so many times that I’d be wearing the ball-bag suit for the rest of my life.
…erm sorry, that just brought back some intense memories for me. Are you sure you want “help” from us? It seems more like you are after approval for us to let you end it. These pictures do contradict what you’ve shared as I see such beauty…but yes, contradiction.
I’m ignoring the first part because I’ve no idea what you’re talking about. And no, I don’t want help. I wanted advice, which I can find many places on the internet, but I much prefer talking to actual people because it makes me feel slightly less insane. Again, no. I assure you I do not seek your “approval”. On anything, including my looks as well as ending it. I’m posting pictures because I find it very odd to be talking to someone whom I’ve no idea what they look like. If you’d like me to stop, then I suggest you don’t look at them. And I’m terribly sorry if that sounded mean, I’m just uncertain how to politely word it. Also; thank you for the compliments on beauty. I have a type of disorder though, where I see a distorted image of myself on the mirror. So, you’re not getting many places with the compliments, haha.
Nothing like a good ol’ cyberslap back into reality. Rest assured, I’m just reiterating the plainly obvious (to most anyway) and take it as whatever you like.
Okay here’s my advice:
Quick and (relatively) painless.
You’ll need a good sharp blade and a bit of courage, longitudal laceration to the axillary artery or carotid, give it a minute…permadeath. Blood loss and shock will put you under in no time, it’s just having the guts to actually do it I suppose. There’ll be a lot of blood too.
That’s very untrue. But, due to the recent posts of the amount of negativity, I would much like to take the conversation elsewhere. Would you care to email me?… Please?
@Falon: You mentioned you find it odd to talk to people who don’t know what you look like (and vice versa, I presume), but appearances are prone to generating bias one way or the other. Except when it comes to people like me, but that’s mostly because I just don’t care that much what people look like, one way or the other. Most people do, though. Wouldn’t it be easier to find out who people are without that shading factor?
Mmmm, yes I suppose that’s very true and what I said was slightly contradicting. I once watched a documentary though, on how people find their “soul-mates” or “truelove” or what have you (not that I believe in such thing) about the way people look, their qualities. I’m not sure how to explain it, honestly. I mean, I could care less about looks and such. Haha, I’m confusing myself. As I said; I’m uncertain of how to explain it. I just don’t like it >-<
MrBaDGUY: If what you say were true, then the converse would also be true; there would be no men who don’t care about how a woman looks. I would be the chink in that argument. Ergo, it stands to reason there are some chicks like me, and I should probably go hunt them down and start a Whovian Army of Solidarity in Whogivesafuckism. Then we can overthrow Hawaii and declare it New Whoville.
@lorax: but you also claim to be uninterested in romantic/sexual pursuits/experiences, so i don’t think you should count yourself in that regard. If you were looking for a someone, i’m sure you’d “care” about their looks, though i wouldn’t expect you’d prioritize an impossibly elevated standard. I think you’d be fine with compatible personality and “decent” (aka non-hideous, not necessarily gorgeous) aesthetics.
I almost “got all technical” on this issue some minutes ago… but ultimately, there are quite a lot of women who do not prioritize looks… but perhaps not in a way that is actually better; many of them prioritize things like financial security and specific exceptional physical traits (who can’t guess which traits are deemed most important, most often). So, while people can make an argument over whether looks are prioritized… i can assure you all, looks are not the most typical top priority, even when they are highly valued. Most people, given ample selection pool from which to choose, will pick the best combination of their favorite traits, even if some others might be better in any particular area. And if you’re not one of the lucky few who happens to have what someone you like is seeking, then that’s just too bad, for you. That’s me, over there in the discard bin. I’m not the stuff dreams are made of, so i don’t qualify for selection.
You say you have a disorder that negatively distorts your view of your self? (No, you do not.) How could you? How could you be self conscious of your aesthetic self worth, then proceed to post your image onto a public forum for strangers to scrutinize? ..or praise. Is that what you are really after? You say you do not like talking to someone whose appearance you don’t know (superficial and shallow, but we can run with it), but why does that have YOU gracing us with YOUR face? Unless it is for judgement, be it positive or negative? Unless you are certain of and desperate for receiving the first one.
Do you so desperately feel the need to assert some vapid, petty ‘pretty girl’ superiority. Your only true goal could be to come out ahead by creating a visually induced biasness in your favor.Well if it is judgement you desire….
Your eyebrows, the first aspect I notice, are the too thin eyebrows of a girl who over plucks to look good. Desperately downsizing her eyebrows in some reflection of downsizing herself and making eyes look larger and more sensualy innocent, innocence that was lost when eyebrows were starting to be plucked for sexual effect. Which brings me to neatly your indeterminably colored orbs. They droop at the ends in a lazy fashion. I do not feel comfortable saying for certain if that is a trait coming through from your personality.
Attached between these is a tear drop shaped nose, whose small bulbous end is held at an obtuse angle, sticking the rounded point into the air. Once again, not completely comfortable saying for certainty this portrays personality traits. Finally, since your mouth is oddly hidden, we are left only with cheeks and hair.
Your face is very soft and does something incredibly peculiar. From the cheek bones down, it is bowed out. Almost like the lower half of your face is the bottom of a bag that has been filled with something that has not reached the top. As if the forehead region has been pinched in tighter by the hand of God. Finally that bottle red hair that is in fashion. Not much to say except to ask, where did you get the idea for it?! I have been wondering why all the girls taking selfies on tumblr suddenly need this color.
So, all that sums up to your face, which could be conceived as pleasing to some. I am sure at least a few have called you pretty or beautiful or any other number of superficial compliments. Someone immediately did it here. Right off the bat. But what does that truly entitle you to? A more tragic story? Are you trying to induce more sympathy for that which has befallen the ‘poor pretty’ girl? Be faceless and nameless..that is what this is for. You say if we do not like it, we can ignore it. No. We cannot. You shoved it into our faces. To know you, means to know this post, means to know this picture. But hey. If you do not like my words, just ignore them.
fortunear, do you always write a wall of text whenever you see a 16 years old girl post a mirror picture to a random place in the internet? Gosh… *facepalm*
Almost exactly what I was thinking. It’s the “TELL ME I’M PRETTY” stuff. I may understand she has some need to perhaps raise her self-esteem, but perhaps this is not the best place to choose to do it. #JustSaying
@clevername: You make a fair point. I’d just say, me being me, if I were looking for someone, not only would they have to not like sex very much, but really, how they look would probably be less important than whether they liked cats, or enjoyed opera music, even. Haha.. I don’t mind romantic relationships, it’s the sex part that kills it for me.
Don’t be such a hard-ass, I have BDD too but I finally got the courage to post my photos on yahoo!answers in a desperate attempt to gain closure, but they called me ugly on there, so I guess I don’t have BDD and it’s all true. Anyways, don’t be mean to the girl, it must have took lots of courage to post photo (btw your pretty but that doesn’t matter to me) and yeah.. Btw I just realize this? (How come you did not know the name of your disorder?) weird. But it’s ok- you beautiful giiiiirl- go live life lol. Me, we’ll ill probably drown myself tomorrow.

*raises hand*
question: do you also see “distorted self-images” when looking at photos of yourself? Or is it only in the “real-time” mirror-effect?
I’ve often thought i looked better in pictures than in real life (reflections… since i can’t actually see myself any other way in real life…).
Eh. Both I suppose. Mostly the “real-time mirror-effect”. Sometimes I see my self as average in photographs. But not often. It’s complicated ._.

Well, that was my last option but I guess that’s what we’re left with. The axillary artery or carotid being my wrists I assume?
Your wrists? Um. No.
This only proves my point.
And what’s that?
It doesn’t matter. I think you couldn’t care less that a complete stranger cares about you.
That’s very untrue. But, due to the recent posts of the amount of negativity, I would much like to take the conversation elsewhere. Would you care to email me?… Please?
It’d be my pleasure, Miss.

I’ve emailed you 🙂
I’ve yet to receive it :3
Well, if you wanna know how I look, just imagine a red fuzzy lorax hugging a shrubbery and there ya go. 🙂
Haha, I love the Lorax.
lorax, fess up — you’re a unicorn, don’t you remember ?
There are no women who dont care about a guys looks, so be honest.
Well I’m sure as hell not Jesus, as Cosmo Jarvis said.
