Um not sure the bible says if your saves you’ll go to heaven no matter what but it also says if you kill yourself you’ll go to hell.. That’s so frustrating!!!
I personally don’t believe in any religion. In my mind, there is nothing after death, just nice, peaceful, comforting darkness. Nothing more nothing less.
I believe that it would depend on what “heaven” means to you personally. Whether it be religion or the literal sky, clouds, moon, the sun. We are all energy and we will always be a part of this universe, spiritually or physically. Your body eventually will break down, or your ashes will still go somewhere and eventually make it to “heaven”.
Doesn’t it make sense for those who wrote the Bible to put in that provision? Since society has always frowned on suicide (foregoing the Japanese), who’s to say the men who wrote the book threw it in to reinforce the social norms of the times? Personally, I don’t believe in God anyways, but I’ve never understood why people take the Bible at face value. It was written by flawed, biased men. The closest you can get to God’s word is the first five books, the Old Testament, which was actually written by Moses on Mt. Sinai.
Death scares the shit out of me, cause I can’t fathom being nothing, not thinking, not feeling, not existing (though sometimes it’s a comforting thought, ending the pain), but I won’t believe in God and heaven just to wash out the fear. If you believe in God–the kind, merciful, loving one–I wouldn’t listen to the literal words of the Bible and believe that He would welcome you with open arms. He makes plenty of us suffer and kills plenty of us off, so why would he reject you for taking steps to end your suffering? Everybody dies in the end anyways. Is God that picky about the time we join him?
The bible never actually confronts the matter of suicide, though many people have drawn their own conclusions from various verses and themes. St. Augustine was the first (documented) to preach against suicide. It’s interesting that he was afraid of Christians killing themselves in order to reach heaven sooner. Different religions and cultures of course have different takes on suicide and the afterlife.
Personally I hope we get a break when we die- no heaven, no hell, no reincarnation. I hope we just blink out of existence.
When you die, that’s it. Nothingness. The sad truth is that there is no”god” to hand us salvation. It’s just us, the people on Earth. When you die, your body simply stops functioning. It’s like going to sleep forever.

I think you go where you believe you’re gonna go… If that makes sense…
I guess its just like being pemanately unconcious
