I think I know the feeling. That feeling you get at 2AM, when the plastic Chesire Cat grin mask comes off, you take a long look at yourself, and you feel like even breathing is too much of an effort. The feeling where it seems the air pressure suddenly increased, and the whole world is crashing upon you. The feeling when you don’t quite want to die – that would be far too much effort, and far too dramatic – but you do wish you could just disappear, wither away until the emaciated husk that remains is not worthy of being called by your name. The feeling where you wish something dramatic, certain, would at least happen, like a TV Drama where the characters have their respective roles to fill, and are inextricably bound to their fate; anything but the dull uncertainty and anxiety that accompanies living.
It’s okay Lost, I think most of us here know the feeling all too well.
