Oh I totally know that feeling. I hate reality.

When I need to get away from my life, either I watch a total fantasy/scifi flick like, I dunno, “Pan’s Labyrinth” or something. Or I watch a really depressing movie about people who have bigger problems than me. Like “Platoon”.

I also like movies where the main character commits suicide (for real, it’s like a release for me). But I can’t really suggest any without spoiling em 😛

Betty Blue = awesome

To this day, every time I eat an olive I think of that scene in the restaurant where they’re tasting olives and having a great time. Why can’t I have friends in real life who appreciate the taste of a good olive???

Amadeus = another one of my favorites. I used to have all of Salieri’s monologues memorized… amazing how much my mind works like his… unfortunately.

PS I never saw Blood Simple, but I recently saw a Chinese remake (yeah, China remaking an American movie for a change) called A Woman, a Gun and a Noodle shop. Loved it!
