I will tell you that medication is notoriously hard to OD on. This is more a public service message than a m@thod discussion though. The amount you would need to ingest would just serve to cause your stomach to throw it all back up and/or you would find yourself at the hospital getting your stomach pumped.
We can discuss however, how you found yourself on a suicide support site looking to find out about ODing. Lots of people here find themselves here for exactly the reason you are here and stay to get the support offered.
Simply put: Come for the m@thod, stay for the humor and support.
So what is going on today that you are looking for this sort of thing? Aside form the usual that is.
I don’t have any experiences with it. I don’t sleep much. I take handfuls of benedryl to konk out but I have gone cold turkey off them and I am fairly certain I’m having some significant rebound from it. Either way, why do you want to sleep for a long long time? Do you live alone? Tell me a little about yourself.
How come you’ve done that? Is your sleeping okay?
I need a break and a long sleep even more so. Responsibility, stress and all that. Plus I just feel depressed when I’m tired, if I get some sleep I at least gave a chance of picking myself back up. I llive with two other people but they’re not always here
I’m currently on a prescription of Amitryptaline and I have to say it doesn’t seem to be doing anything so far.
The doctor was hoping it would help with depression AND back pain AND insomnia all at the same time. But it isn’t doing any of the above so far.
They kept warning me it might make me drowsy, and phbbbt. Not at all. Not even close. I am still awake half the night, sometimes all night long. I haven’t slept since Friday.
We started out at 10 mg, then 25, then 50, and now we’re up to 75.
I expect I’ll probably get moved up to 100 at my appointment next week.
I wouldn’t recommend OD’ing on it… yeah there’s the rule about not discussing m@thods, but also I just don’t think it’s a very strong med.
At least it hasn’t done anything for me yet.

Sorry I didn’t intend to discuss it as a method just wanted to know people’s experiences with it
