If it’s any consolation I often lose my cup of coffee. I put it down and then it vanishes, a mini coffee cup Bermuda Triangle.
Once I asked a co-worker it they’d seen it, although not my intent they stopped what they were doing and joined the search, even asking others if they had seen it. It was a little embarrassing having a “search team” for my momentary forgetfulness.
Completely normal, sadly you’re not alone. There are some ways to improve cognitive function and memory through brain training and a recent study has also linked exercise to memory. Google it, it’s one thing that you *can* improve.
+1 to the comment above, i lose stuff all the time too. The worst is when i spend a while looking for something that’s either on my hand or in one of my pockets (that i supposedly checked like 3 times already).

For all the things you lose you find new ones, and i think losing is normal
