I stumbled across Martin Manley, the sportswriter who blogged his own suicide.
Apparently he ended it on his 60th birthday and was comfortable with it. He was suffering from dementia (like I am going to suffer with) and went out on his own terms.
Just google his name and you will see his website about what he did and why. Very fascinating read.

I’d started a blog. The theme was making one last, fully focused effort in life and if I didn’t make it I’d take it. I didn’t feel like enduring the haters or sticking to my countdown, my schedule of things to try, so I ditched it.
It was good though. Really good. There are a slew of posts waiting to be uploaded. Not going to happen. Though I suppose there is a way to time the posts. Ah, well.
The timer didn’t have enough juice to go the distance.
I read this one sometime.. He made his website live on the same day when he shot himself. The website included his complete live history and everything about his suicide.
i am quietly relieved to see u posting.
You referring to me Soco? If yes then it is going to be short lived because I am supposed to get served papers this week and I have been delaying this for too long and should of ended it in November. I have come to accept my fate and do not feel like there is anything left to live for unless I like getting beaten up each day. Thanks for caring though I do appreciate it.
