Are a curse as well as dreams especially if all it’s ever been is filled with emptiness and unfulfillment. No wonder I have no motivation to live or do anything, all I’ve ever known is inadequacy and failure.

Dreams as well, but usually they are just a lovely and welcome escape.

i have nightmares all the time and very vivid, i hate going to sleep i get no rest. but embrace the hate!
Memories are harsh and painful. Dreams are often reflecting them and as such may be even worse, introducing familiar terror in new and terrible ways. It’s especially frustrating when the only dreams you remember are the painful ones.
