It’s been a long time since I posted anything.
Still here, still struggling with the same things. Holidays are rough as always.
Still dealing with multiple disability issues. Walking with a cane in each hand in the dead of winter is sort of like strapping a banana peel to each foot and standing at the top of a giant slide.
But hey.
Hi, everyone.

Hello Cordless I remember reading your posts. You’re a true survivor and it’s great to see you’ve still got a great sense of humour!
Thank you for reading and commenting!
These days I don’t feel like much of a survivor, but since I’m still alive, I guess I fit at least one definition of the word, right?
I can hardly walk these days, but I’m grateful to have the canes and walker and wheelchair.
Without those, I would spend my life as a blob on the floor.
Which is both awkward and unsanitary while shopping at Wal-Mart.
CORDLESS!!!! (((((((((Hugs to YOU))))))))
I am so glad you posted! I was wondering how you are and wanted to give you a shout out and here you are. You are very much respected and adored for who you are. Your honesty and wit are appreciated.
Apologies for the unsolicited display of affection, it’s just really good to see you. -SQ
Yay!
Thank you for the niceness.
It’s the only hug I’ve had all week, so I’ll take it!
Have you been working on your compositions at all?
I remember you’d gotten a new horn and I think it was somehow different than you imagined it to be (sound? dexterity?). Has it grown on you?
It’s been a couple weeks since I worked on a composition. I should totally launch myself back into that.
Especially since I hinted to the symphony director that I might have another piece written for the spring concert.
Rehearsals start in another week or so, and I have nothing ready. 🙁
I do love the new horn, though.
It’s a professional Conn 8 – D.
My favorite so far.
I remember it was a big purchase at the time. Glad you’re still with the orchestra. It would be wonderful if you were able to finish the piece on time and hear it in a live performance. Besides, the winter weather gives reason to stay in.
Heyy Cordless, was wondering where you were. Glad to see you are still around
Hi there. 🙂
I am still around, almost, sort of, mostly.
I have to admit I’m relieved that there are still people here who remember me. 😮
Hey Cordless!! Glad to see you are still around. Was it maybe 1 yr. ago or more–that you were drinking vodka and everybody was making joke after joke. It was so funny. You thoroughly enjoy it and I loved reading it. Sadly, the jokesters are not around any more. Happy New Year!!
It was at least a year ago, I think…

Omg.
That was really quite a night.
I still get email from some of them.
Hazy, Rocketman, AlanOminous, Trey…
They may not be here at SP, but they’re still around.
🙂
It’s good to see you around still Cordless….
I’m also happy to hear that Hazy and Rocketman are still around too…. I haven’t been around here much lately, and I lurk in every so often. :/
I at first read that as “standing on a giant spider” and got really confused ^_^
Standing on a spider would be much safer than the banana peel / slide thing.
Plus the added benefit of a dead spider.
Oh I was picturing it being alive…. Which would be horrifying :/
Hi, Cordless.
I’m sorry that you’re struggling. At the same time, it’s good to see you. I hope that you’ve been well.
