I’ve always had problems in all areas of my life, but now I am dealing with work problems. I got this job witch pays very bad. I have been looking for months and can’t just quit. There are a job crises in my country. They know that we need and then take advantages. My boss is a ***** and I am feeling like a loser. Here, we use to work from 08:00am to 18:00pm with a lunch break.
Just to know, in your country, how many hours do you work everyday? Have any ideia how much an administrative assistent makes?

Unemployed. 0 hours

‘A job’ is a misnomer. What they are is a thing that exploits your need to be a part of civilization. They pay you as little as they can possibly get away with and the owners, who often do not work, keep the money.
The whole thing is highly organized and measured via ‘the stock market’ which is a device for giving people money that others worked for.
The general structure of work in the u.s. is around forty hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 5:00. That’s just a guideline. Many jobs have irregular schedules, and there are many government regulations regarding pay and benefits. Administrative assistant? I have absolutely no idea what the pay would be, a complete guess would be around $25,000 a year, depending on who you are working for, level of education, requirements of the job.
Hope this helps.
I have a master degree and make $18.000. I pay 700 in my rent, the rest is to buy food, clothes, etc. In my departament most of the people are also graduate from law school. I am really, really depressed.
I would imagine a comparable position in the u.s. would pay probably twice that wage, if not more, with your degree, but again I’m guessing. Are you considering relocating?
To where? If I was a engeneer I could go to another country. Or, if my english was decent I would try anything overseas, even clean bathroom. But I was a stupid teenager who wanted to be a lawyer. Congratulations, now I live in a studio almost without money
Dude, I work in a warehouse (my own fault for screwing up my life). Law = not bad! I know this doesn’t help. Just, you know, it could be worse.
