Okay so… most adults think that teens are like… “that kid who went and got drunk and went off driving for the fun of it…”. That we’re just over reacting to things and that we don’t understand how lucky we are or whatever. But you know what, i do know, well, not entirely but i’ve heard, i’ve seen, i’ve thought. I may not be in other situations , but i know. I AM lucky, but there are also things that aren’t happy in my life, as there is in probaly everyones. Teens aren’t just “dumb kids” or foolish. I wonder how many adults actually think about how teens feel inside. How we operate out emotional lives. I wonder how many of us think alike. How many teens are suffering, how many are facing death weither it be by their own hand or anothers. We are a generation of humans. We can fight against the prejudice of others, we can stick together. Or we can fly solo and hope our wings won’t wither. Being a teenager is difficult and twisted. There is so much going on. Highschool, home, health, realtionships of all kinds. Memories weither there bad or not. Friends weither they stick with you and mean it or not. Weither parents care or not, weithere they act as if they do or don’t. Life is just so… difficult. Yeah there is beauty and joy, and love and peace, but not everyone can see that not everyone knows what it is. God, not eveyrone believe in him, some find strength in him others don’t believe or don’t know. Â There are choices that mean everything, and choices that don’t mean much. But teens are more, we’re more than just drunks or foolish kids. We’re more than what the world can think of us. We hurt and laugh and cry, and hate and love and die just as anyone else can. We are people. We are teenager, we are a generation… and we need help and who is there for us…
