Contagious Happieness..

Today at lunch, one of my friends was sad.

I asked her why, but she wouldn’t respond.

I asked her friend right next to her, and she mouthed me the words, “She thinks she isn’t pretty.”

I felt my very own heart shatter, I’m not sure why.

I told her to get up and for us to go to the bathroom.

She luckily agreed, and I could tell my the look on her face that she was truly sad and she truly believed that she was ugly.

Well we went to the bathroom and there were people in there, so neither of us said anything, she just stood there in front of the mirror and started shaking her head with “one of thoes smiles.”

The other girls left, but then another one walked in.

I was getting fed up.

I took her out of the bathroom and pushed her in a corner where no one could see us.

I started telling her all this stuff about I have that problem too, and that that is one of my reasons I cut.

I asked her how on Earth she could think she was ugly.
All she replied with “Well, why doesn’t he talk to me?”

She liked this asswhole, but he really was a dick, he was a jerk.

I told Her, “______, just cuz you like a guy doesn’t mean he will like you back, believe me, and he’s an asswhole, like seriously, he’s a jerk. But that is no reason that you should think you’re ugly. I mean c’mon, your eyes are amazing, your smile is pretty freakin perfect, your hair kicks ass, your style is awesome, and you personality is just off the charts. You ARE beautiful. Ok?!”

The smile, she had on her face, was amazing. She made me feel so good inside. (not like that)

And I wasn’t lieing, she really is beautiful, she isn’t the skinniest, but neither am I. She really is perfect.

After that she gave me a huge hug. It was weird, it kinda felt like I can feel her emotion of.. Relief.

I’m not really sure why I am posting this.. Maybe you could figure it out.
