I’m only in 9th grade, yet every year of school I’ve been bullied. I respect everyone I come in contact with, yet still in the end I’m crying in my bed at night, trying to forget each day. In my mind at least, I’m a nice girl, and I’m not asking for the world to love me. Just to stop bringing so much pain, please, please, please. My eyes hurt from crying.

Hey my name is pat, I’ve never really been bullied before but when i did see others get bullied it makes me so furious to know people do it for amusement. You shouldn’t be scared though or angry its not your fault. There will be people in this world that do harm to others and some people who help. I really don’t know what to tell you though, i wish i could make every innocent persons pain go away in this world but i cant that is up to them to solve.
Hey. My name is Simone and I’m a freshman in high school too. I deal with bullying and mean girls on the everyday. I, too, am perfecty nice to everyone, but sometimes the people just don’t get what “respect” is. If you need to talk to anyone please email me at senderlin@sbcglobal.net
High school can be a pretty traumatizing time. It’s worst for girls, we’re conditioned from a young age to think that we have no worth. That we exist to please men, and if we aren’t pretty then we have nothing to offer.
This needs to stop, but that’s another story.
I know it doesn’t seem like it, but life will get better. That’s not to say it won’t suck again, but certainly, don’t let the high school experience affect you so deeply. It’s like a stress pressure-cooker. Surging hormones, high stress, peer pressure, changing bodies…I mean really.
Maybe try to find a release. Something to do that will give you a feeling of self-worth. An activity of some kind, it doesn’t have to be competitive. Personally I love gardening. Just try to find something. Good luck.
