Has anyone here had a near death experience following a suicide attempt? I’ve tried my best to get answers on this, but I can’t seem to find any accounts that appear to be genuine.
I really want to go ahead with killing myself after a long period of contemplation. This is not a cry for help. I just honestly want to know if people have experiences with life after life.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Siamesedream,
I am 50 years old….attempted 7 times…the first time before the age of 4…the last time at the age of 40. Have had 7 NDEs….the last one was a real mind blower…and is recorded on the IANDS website…as well as Dr. Kenneth Rings website…and it was reported many years ago….not just to impress you…lol. So what is it you wish to know love? I have no secrets and no shame….so ask away. The last time…I was told by two different specialists that I had less than 6 months to live….wait until someone trys to take your life instead of you….and see how pissed you get. That was in Dec.2000….and in Jan. 01…I died….was out of body for over 6 hours…amazing physiological changes etc. So let me know what and how much you want to know?…I love to talk and share….ask anyone…lol

Well, my question is simple. Just wondering if suicide NDEs are as pleasant/calming/peaceful as natural NDEs, in your experience of course. I realize that this is different for every person.
Hey siamesedream,
The truth….no the NDE”S from suicide attempts can be anything…depending on what you need to experience…I have been to Void (Hell) and I’ve been to Source (Heaven)….but then natural NDE’s ….they can go either way also…and sometimes even good NDE’s are disturbing. And the most interesting part of the NDE…is that once you have had one….you then understand…we are not just physical beings…our minds survive physical death…so that creates a problem for those who think death is an escape from their tortured reality.
My favourite NDE story was my uncle’s…he was my teacher in Grade 6..and my vice-principal all the way up to then…and later he was the principal of the school my children attended….Mr. Practical for sure….well he had an emergency quadruple bypass a few months ago….and suddenly he wants to talk and spend time with me…we’ve never been close….but he had an interesting OBE….during the surgery…and he was too afraid to tell anyone else about it…didn’t want folks to think he finally lost his mind…and the detail he gives is amazing. He attended a party hosted in his honour……across the hall from the OR…seriously…with people that apparently knew him…but they were dressed kinda funny he says….I laughed and then gave him a hug and recommended an auto-biography of a local celebrity he knows that had a similiar experience…and I warned him to be careful who he talks to about it…and that it could take up to 7 years to fully assimilate the experience….to be patient…and just take it as an opportunity to learn something new.
I have also had hellish experiences….and several OBE’s as well as NDE’s. And in the end…this is what I have determined…..death is an illusion…and suicide is just a temporary fix to a permanent issue…whereever you go…there you’ll be.
The IANDS website and Dr. Kenneth Ring’s website have a vast number of stories of both types of NDE’s as well as OBE’s….check them out. The last time I checked my story was on Ring’s homepage….and I submitted it to IANDS…almost 10 years ago….it really was that strange. Another contributor who may be able to help you is Anita Moorjani….google her name….she had an amazing NDE and return from death…and she explains better than I ever could….check it out.

I don’t really see how it can be concluded from NDE’s that our minds survive physical death.
Surely the very fact that it is called a NEAR death experience means that you are STILL ALIVE.
We know that our brains can do all kinds of weird and wonderful things while we are living. We can have crazy dreams, and we can experience things such as sleep paralysis whereby we are aware of our surroundings before our physical body is capable of moving.
Where are all the minds of the billions of people who have died? Why can’t we locate them or communicate with them? What form do they take? How does a mind leave the physical body? Can we swap minds with one another whilst we are living?
@OB1…just because you don’t see or understand something…does it make it wrong or false? Do some research if you really want to know…even the experts are starting to take this seriously. Humans just overidentify with the physical…which includes the brain…but not the mind….where is your mind?…it isn’t actually in your physical body…but tethered to it if you will.
People who are brain dead…are being brought back at unprecedented rates…so if they are brain dead…how is it that when they come back they have memory….the memories are accessed through the brain…not stored in the brain…and memory after physical death continues in the ethereal body and its concurrent dimension of reality. How detailed do you want me to be? Or do you want to check some of this out for yourself? The mind is not in the physical body….but the soul is definitely trapped in it while we are alive…but never the mind…unless we allow our egos to shut it down. And I have communicated with ethereal beings…I am clairsentient…and a hostile medium…I don’t enjoy it. But I see ghosts…lol..don’t you?
Let me know if you want to debate this…lol..
Live, Learn, Love and Laugh…in that order….and I always laugh when I can

You say that the mind is not in the physical body, so where is it then? Just above our heads? Next to our ankles? How is it tethered to the physical body? How is it connected to the brain so that memories can flow back? Surely the onus is on you to provide some evidence or explanation, rather than just relying on the “just because you don’t see it” card. Using that logic, I could argue anything – we all have an invisible dinosaur following us round – just because you can’t see it, does it make me wrong?
You say that the soul is inside the physical body, so again I would ask, where is it located? Is it all throughout our bodies? In our hearts? In our brains? If it’s in the heart, what happens if you have a heart transplant? If it’s all throughout your body, what happens if you lose your legs in an accident – do you lose part of your soul? What does the soul actually do? How is it connected to the physical body? What keeps it inside the physical body? What causes it to leave the physical body when that body dies?
@ OB1…how old are you?…do you really expect me to do all the work for you?…and do you truly want to understand…or do you just like a good argument?
Go and learn about the 7 bodies of man…not just the physical…and then we will have some place to start this discussion on perhaps your post?…hmmm…sorry Siamesedream. I don’t mind a good argument…but please offer something in return to debate….your questions?…are insulting….but I’m used to being insulted…and will still talk to you about this…but learn something first…even just about the astral body or the ethereal body…or the mental body…or quantum physics…or string theory…or personal experience…but your argument is not based on anything that I can appreciate.

The very fact that you are on this site asking for tangible proof that there is a soul, proves it. Do You walk around asking for proof of a dino walking behind you? No you do not. A 4th grader lives life, although he cannot explain it. We live it even though we cannot explain it. It just is. Once you elevate your consciousness to know that you do not know everything, you will begin to understand things. Personally ask you not to end your life, the trick is this…..its naturally going to end on its own! lol Thats a truth,a constant ,and WILL NEVER FAIL !! I simply ask you to not play a role in your own death. Like the others said, its a temp solution, and until you can personally prove otherwise then dont do it! How about this ….make that your lifes mission is to “prove other wise”!
