Well, i’ve never really been a positive person. I just cant see many good things worth living for in this life. I rent a house with some friends, but am moving in with my girlfriend. The depressing part is i love her and am ready to get a place together, BUT i have to get rid of all my stuff because we dont have room in our new place. Music is my life and now i have to put my guitars, amps, drum set, etc, up for sale or in storage. My attitude has declined and now all we do is fight. I dont want to tell her she is making me miserable, but she is the reason my depression is worsening. I’ve been binging on drugs in the hopes that i’ll O.D. Is there a way out?

be honest with her, if your not read to get rid of your things then don’t she should understand you need your space.
I agree, u should tell her how u feel. Your music is who u are she should accept that. Killing yourself isn’t the way to show her you are miserable. Talk to her, communication is the key if you don’t have that then your relationship is sure to fail.don’t give up on yourself, be u and let you count in your life, the most important person is yourself.
There must be an alternative. Are you able to rent a rehearsal space? It shouldn’t cost more than monthly storage, and that way you can play the instruments too. Perhaps you could rent a space with some friends? Perhaps get a band together, to make a bit of money to help with the costs? If you talk things through with your gf, I’m sure she’ll be supportive. Binging on drugs is not the answer – it will only confuse the issue. Good luck with the move!
