I feel that I am in an ominous abyss, someone please tell me I’m not. I know that it is my own doing, but do not know how to climb out even though I wish to or just plain suffocate already. This paper bag of hope or maybe just faith is not helping the hyperventilation that comes on every time I look at reality and know I am alone; in an ominous abyss.

You may be right. Maybe you are in an abyss, but then again maybe you’ve discovered a new realm and the entrance was a deep dark whole. Maybe if you continue to fall, you will come across the other side of the world. So if you stop trying to climb out, it might take you to somewhere great. And maybe you are alone. There may not be an “i” in team, but there is an “i” in win. Did Michaelangelo have help from a team painting the sistine chapel? No, because he was the skilled painter. If a lot of people would have helped him, it would look bad. So maybe you are alone for now, but the whole world will congradulate the work that you do while you are alone. You may get some help, but when your accomplishments are done only by you, you feel better then you would if others would have helped you.
The thing about the abyss is that we can tell you that you can escape.
We can throw you ropes and even extend our hands to help you.
But you have to reach out to get pulled out.
You are not alone.
You just have not yet foudn your tangible support group.
The people who can be there for you in all ways.
And sometimes that takes time.
We here will listen and even converse with you.
And hopefully that helps until and along with someone who can actually be there.
So now you have to make that first step to climb out.
