Hi…I have been following your story. I just had to try to reach out to you and tell you I am so sorry you are having to experience the pain depression. You are very articulate and seem to have an awareness of the magnatude of your plight. I want to give you some added information that my help you feel there is real hope for a true change in your life that will lead you out of a world of pain and into a world of hope and joy and creativity. First you need to know that depression is a biolobical response to either an internal temperary malfunction or started as an envioronmental outside stimuli that then manefested as an internal biological malfunction…therefor your first move in your line of defense is to see a pyschiatrist…do not go to a general MD…You need some one who specializes in your area of need…90% of all depression can be helped with the right combination of meds..You may not get the right combo off the bat but if you are persistant you can change your life…Next is to understand that your brain is a creature of habit..It would like to continue on the same old road but you can teach you mind new ways of interperating the information it receives and thus overcome the biolobical cascade that is realesed each time you have a negative thought. Thirdly…Change your environment…ie..all of your indoor lighting needs to be the full spectrum lights that mimic the rays of the sun. Keep your home well lit. play up lifting music, music that gives you energy and makes you feel good. and lastly go out and buy a book called, the EDGE effect By Dr. Eric R. Braverman….this will give you mental amunition. You can truly change your life from a wold of pain and missery to laughter and awareness. I lost a daughter to suicide on valentines Day..She wraped up in my blanket and put a gun to her head…She was a beautiful 29 year old lady who became tired of fighting. But I did not know what I know now. there are now good tools for fighting for your life…I know they work for my second daughter is now winning the battle and has cried over the fact that we did not have this knowledge for her sister…Please acquire some of these tools so that when depression pops around you feel empowed and opptimistic in your ability to handle and defeat it. Much love and prayers to you…You are the only person of your kind on this earth..no one can replace your light.

Thank you. This was the most heart felt thing I’ve ever read. I felt like you were writing directly to me.
I never looked at my brain as a creature. I always thought there was something wrong because of with me, something far deeper then just a human organ inside my head. But it really is that simple. Lol, I feel so happy right now XD!
