Hey Everyone,
I just lost my job in the automotive industry. I have seen this coming for a good 5 or 6 years now but have not done much about it. Some people I work with have become aware of a co-worker who recently offed himself by jumping off the roof of a casino when he lost his life savings after also losing his job in the auto sector. It is so depressing because we don’t make anything much anymore in America. I ran into this website, http://thecomingdepression.net, and it really opened my eyes. It looks like a lot of other people are experiencing the same problems around America these days with the loss of their jobs. I have been feeling like snuffing it for the past 10 years or so and don’t see it getting much better now that I have lost my job to tell you the truth. Reading more and more as to why we’re losing our jobs and industries is not very comforting either. I dont really think Obama is going to help America get back on its feet to tell you the truth. I don’t know what to do with myself now that I am on unemployment.

Not having a job, or something you have to do consistently, makes each day feel hopeless. [at least for me] My husbands good friend lost his job last June and he has been on unemployment. I have no idea what your circumstances are but he began taking online courses to get a college degree so that he can be more employable. There were grants & loans available for the courses. I can’t say I know how you feel but writing about it, and knowing that someone is reading it and cares….may help a little?
