I just recently saw a comment by someone called Softcreation which said that death ‘has to come naturally’. I always question this concept (I am not against the concept, I am just struggling to find any truth behind it). So I would like to hear others opinions on this as it is something that I struggle with. Mostly I would like to specifically ask Softcreation these questions;
1) How do you know that death must come naturally? Is it something religious you have based your belief on?
2) How would you regard other (more frequent) deaths than those that are caused ‘naturally’, like in war, in violence and in terminal diseases? Would you consider a terminal and very painful disease a ‘natural’ death?
3) Please explain what a ‘natural’ death is.Â
4) Is it only death by suicide that you are against? If so, why have you come to a suicide forum?
Thanks
I would just like to point our here that ‘natural’ deaths are not in anyway our most common form of death.

Softcreation = I wish you are very long and ‘natural’ death
Death doesn’t care who we are or why we’re here. Neither does life. They are both man made delusions, that can always be proven to be nothing but desperate beliefs believed by desperate (and not very intelligent) people.
Life happens, death happens – only stupid humans place any importance over a physical material existence.
Hey, I often do wonder how many of the ‘anti assisted suicide’ (for terminally ill people) organisation, are actually terminally ill. That would be very interesting to find out.
I agree that death doesn’t care how you die, to have that belief is to be religious and believe in god (a judging almighty being) and not spirit (an all loving being).
Still: I am like you in that I would struggle very hard to believe the notion that you *must* die naturally and by doing that you are being *good* somehow. What about terminally ill people? What about people that suffer really awful, unbearable lives (either physically or mentally)? That kind of belief leaves no room for real *good* and real *love* so I don’t (can’t) respect it.
What’s more, those that preach this stuff are usually no more *good* than the non believers that I know and see (in fact less so, more often than not). And I firmly believe that humans in this world as it is (controlled by who knows what/whom) is not capable of real love and good. If we were truly loving and good, we would rather die than allow the global suffering that happens, for our culture supports and funds the suffering of others so we are in fact to blame for it. To deny that fact is either ignorant or evil.
It’s ridiculous to suggest that the WAY you die is important in some way, like someone or something is judging you.
JUDGE THIS: The human race is destroying the earth, but we love our own egotistical selves more than the earth and all other life on it, that was doing fine until we came along. We insult mother nature every minute of every day. I really don’t think mother nature gives a shit how we die, just so long as we do, before we completely kill this wonderful planet.
I will kill myself soon enough and I am doing it for my own beliefs. Just like I don’t respect everyone’s opinion on life and death, I don’t expect everyone to respect mine. But I see it as I love ALL LIFE more than just this physical one that I am in possession of and I will gladly sacrifice it for the love of ALL LIFE, especially that of the planet.
Now you can all giggle and sneer that I am a crazy eco-warrior, and you may be right. But I feel better about my beliefs than I do for anything HUMAN I see and experience.
Before I came onto this site, I used to believe that suicide was a bad thing to do and that it insulted god or even life itself, that life was a gift and we should respect that whether good or bad.
But after reading many posts on here, I have seen that many people have chosen to die, or want to die for an actual cause, which at first seems crazy, but then if you actually explore these theories, does end up making an awful lot of sense to me.
I read one woman had been researching how women are publicly stoned to death in muslim countries and she is so disgusted that she wants no part of the human race, even worse is that the human race is doing nothing to stop this evilness (that was her point) and so she felt that her *life* was supporting that evilness. She said she would die in protest of this happening.
The post of someone called splinter was that he has worked seemingly hard to address peadophile issues going on and discovered that it is impossible to stop this because the system that controls us, is the same system that does little if nothing to stop child rape. He lived his life fighting a moral war, only to learn that it was hopeless. In protest he gave his life, because again, he would rather remove his presence from this corrupt world than support the astrocities that he witnessed.
I happen to find some suicides very noble indeed. In fact, examples of this (and many others on here) are ACTIVELY supporting the love of life. Instead of just existing and taking from this corrupt and evil world. I VERY much doubt these people will be judged if there is a kingdom of heaven, because knowledge of evil when you do nothing, or support it in ANY way – is evil.
I am becoming more aware each day that there is something VERY wrong here on earth and we have believed these lies for way too long. I am changing dramatically, I am feeling a big shift going on in my spirit.
@ baker: Thank you for your wishes of my “being” a very long and ‘natural’
death! I assure you, I accept your wishes and will remember your wise
words when my time comes.
@ Jungle: I agree that Death doesn’t care who we are or why we’re here.
@ scarecrow: “If we were truly loving and good, we would rather die than
allow the global suffering that happens” You are funny!
@ BillyT: You are very smart. You have touched two very important truths in
this world – the biggest enemy of a human is their feeling of self-
importance ( what you called egoism). Nature is the most beautiful
creation and we are part of nature. So if you don’t want to kill nature,
because it is beautiful and fresh and represents life, why is it logical to
kill yourself (human) which also represents life? Eagerly waiting for your
answer!
@ victoria: You are right, there is something VERY wrong here on earth.
Very few people know what that is exactly. Those who do, change
dramatically.

@ still ( original poster)
So, here’s the answer to your questions.
1) How do you know that death must come naturally? Is it something
religious you have based your belief on?
I don’t have a religion. I don’t believe in any gods. I don’t worship
anyone. I don’t have a boss or an idol. I am a free person.
I think it’s silly to believe in something that you have tried and that you
KNOW does not work.
How I know that death must come naturally? Through a series of painful
experiments, years of watching and studying humans on this earth.
Things are not so black-and-white here. A flower or a tree that grows, has
a time during which it lives and then it withers and dies. If you cut it,
or step on it, or chop it down, you interrupt it’s natural process. You
destroy beauty, you destroy life. So I want you to answer this question,
not even to me but to yourself. Because I want you to be sincere, and all
humans lie. But since you have an interest, you might choose to be sincere
with yourself. If you truly want to die, and believe it is your way out,
and that you KNOW you will not be happy in this world… what are you doing
here? Why go on a forum online and discuss anything? Or is your desire to
die so not your own, that you need other people’s opinions to decide if you
must die or not? Are you a slave? If that is your true desire, and YOU
believe you want to die, then do what you want.
When I wanted to die, the only thing stopping me was a thought ‘what if I
can somehow be happy again? This world is so beautiful. If we can see past
all the lies and betrayal and pain, if we WANT to see beauty and innocence
and laughter, we can see it. That’s why all this crowd of people is here.
Actually, that’s the real reason most of them are even reading this forum
instead of killing themselves. They are looking for something, that will
pull them back.
Why ‘naturally’? Because as a child, you are born happy. Once you start
knowing not the world, but the description of the world that people feed
each other, you stop being happy. If you were raised in mountains with
shepherds and not knowing civilisation you would never want to die. You
would wake up every morning laughing, smiling, jumping and thinking ‘what a
beautiful day!’ Why do you think animals don’t kill themselves? Your
feeling of self-importance at this point will scream: Because they are
stupid!! They are not as smart as humans!! They don’t understand the
tragedy of life” and all that decadent pile of shit. It’s ok, you are just
human.
======
2) How would you regard other (more frequent) deaths than those that are
caused ‘naturally’, like in war, in violence and in terminal diseases?
Would you consider a terminal and very painful disease a ‘natural’ death?
That is exactly what I mean by ‘naturally’. Deaths that occur in war,
violence and terminal diseases are ‘natural’ because they are not under the
human’s control. Their time has come to die. So they die. It’s not their
choice. If they had a choice, they would choose to live. Every single one
of them. Don’t take my word for it – ask them yourself. I did. A terminal
and very painful disease… to be honest, if I had a terminal disease, I
would go to Africa and let myself be bitten by a venomous snake. That’s
more fun and less painful. Really.
========
3) Please explain what a ‘natural’ death is.
A natural death is when YOUR TIME HAS COME. That is, not when you decided that your time has come. That’s when you are walking down the street, thinking your own thoughts and a bus hits you. Or a tragic road accident. Or plane crash. Or an illness that you have not caused yourself. Or somebody kills you. Something that not YOU have decided, but TIME has decided. That is natural.
=========
It doesn’t really matter what the most common form of death is. Who cares? That’s besides the point.
4) Is it only death by suicide that you are against? If so, why have you come to a suicide forum?
I’m not against anything or anyone. I’ve been diagnosed with a bunch of crap including schizophrenia, bipolar, ADD, and whatever those liars who call themselves psychiatrists say.
I’ve cured everything once I found the will to live.
Why am I on a suicide forum? I don’t know about you, but I wanted to die for 8 years every single day. I would wake up every single morning and wish a lightning would strike me. There is no fucking way I believed that can ever change. I tried everything you can imagine – alcohol, cutting myself, meditation, Buddhism and many things that you can’t imagine. Nothing helped. So what stopped me from killing myself? When I stopped lying to myself, and started being honest, I realized that secretly I like life. Just like when you are 5 years old, and the sun is shining, the birds are singing, you can go walking in the forest, you can catch fish and let them go, you can play with the other children. I secretly wanted to be happy like that. Now I am.
So again, why am I here? If you stop lying to yourself, the reason you are really here is for a SIGN of some hope. Stop wasting your time, go to a park, look at the sky outside and see how beautiful the world is. It’s the people that make it bad.
SoftCreation; I didn’t read all of your comment here, it’s just too long, but I read halfway down. What comes to mind with me is that you talk of human life as equal to trees and flowers, when you’re completely forgetting (or refusing to accept) that human life is destroying all that you say is beautiful about life. We kill those trees you talk of and eventually all other nature on this planet.
Anyway, I stopped reading your comment after halfway because you come across as so conceited and arrogant the way in which you have addressed everyone in this thread!
You’re not suicidal (obviously) and you seem to KNOW IT ALL even though no-one knows it all, so you’ve not come here to learn or discuss anything, so I can only assume you are on this site due to having no friends. I am not surprised given the way in which you address people. I can understand those that are depressed or suicidal being on here, having no friends, and needing to air their opinions etc, but people like you make me feel very rather queezy.
You’re comment suggesting that anyone should just go ahead and kill themselves (which you said in response to the opinion someone had about death) is quite vile. So you are really not the type of person that should be on a site like this. But then given that the majority of society is ignorant and selfish, you will no doubt reply with more bullshit about yourself and continue to spread your arrogance until you get bored or get a friend. And so, I would hope that everyone deletes any comments given from you.
SoftCreation, how dare you address everyone else’s opinion in the way you have, who do you think you are? It’s clear from your comment that you hold yourself in a high regard.
People coming on here and TELLING everyone what IS, never goes down too well. Plus most of what you talk is nonsense! And you appear to have a LOT of nonsense to say too. You must be frustrated.
Guys, this softcreation used to go under another name on here, so it’s impossible to trust what this person says as their last story was completely different to this one (but just as arrogant) (I guess you can’t ever really hide your true personality hey)
Hey softcreation, look out your window, us humans wreck most other forms of life, especially nature, the natural world might, after all, not be necessary to our survival. So human life ending would actually save countless forms of other life and nature. Your argument is moonshine 🙂
