I don’t know who you (reader) are or what your deal is, but I’ve got a very simple idea. Everyone on this site feels more or less fucked. EVERYONE feels worthless. Pain, sadness, suffering – we all share these feelings.
So why on earth do we all feel alone?
My idea is that we – all of us who have ever considered suicide, people who know what pain is, or even people who just want the world to change – should get together as a community, even if it’s only an online community to start. We should share our ideas, but not like we do on this site. This site seems to be a site where people can vent. I disagree with the idea of venting. It really solves no problems. In venting, you’re encouraging your subconscious to be angrier and sadder more often…
Fuck that.
I propose we make a website, a group, and a plan – a plan to actually solve this world’s problems, one way or another. We’ve all got thoughts. Opinions. Ideas. But perhaps most importantly, we’ve got fucking numbers. Suicide is one of the leading causes of death. If we all banded together instead of fucking wasting ourselves, imagine what all those numbers – those lives – could accomplish. It’s about time our ideas stopped going to waste.
Look at my post here ->Â http://suicideproject.org/2010/10/lets-get-together-and-do-something-about-it/
Think about it. If it’s not for you, fine, I don’t need to hear it. I hope you figure your problems out. But don’t hesitate to email me if you’re interested. Devonfayr@gmail.com

i very much like your statement ‘ In venting, you’re encouraging your subconscious to be angrier and sadder more often…
Fuck that.’ its soo true.
im a fuck heaad. thats alll ciao
Er. The truth, man. oh yeah, the truth. And everybody went “oh yeah, the truth!!!!!!! yeah i’m in man!!11! woo woo”. What “truth” were you talking about?
Sharing some actual concrete goals would be appropriate right about now…. 🙂 Anyway I’m cynical and in a constant state of despair (which is why I’m here lulz) and if “changing the world” or whatever that means was so freaking easy, it would have happened already… Starting smaller, with some specific problem that everyone could agree to tackle, is not a bad idea though.
The truth is that the world needs to change – and we CAN change it. And I’m well aware that the likelihood of anything happening (especially with so few people) is very low.
However, cynicism and skepticism go hand in hand with denial and ignorance. 99% of the time, a cynic knows what they’re talking about, because there’s SO MUCH bull shit in this world that deserves no real attention. But being cynical runs the risk that you’ll completely blow off the only good thing (or things) you WILL come across, because you’re literally mind-fucking yourself into thinking that nothing will ever be worth your time because, let’s face it, ALMOST everything really is a waste of time.
At this point, if you’re of the opinion that this isn’t for you, that’s fine. But the whole point of my posts is to say to people “Hey, I’ve got no idea where we could start, but we HAVE ideas, we HAVE numbers, and we HAVE common grounds. Let’s all get together (via some sort of contact list) and try to actually brainstorm good, potentially revolutionary ideas with each other, because WE UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER.”
I never said we’d be starting at the finish line, and if that’s how it sounded, I apologize. I figured my repetition of the phrase “life sucks” would have indicated that I’m a BIT more realistic than that.
@S: say, what’s ur email address again? I think I’ll email you tonight.
Yes, I agree with you. rather than doing nothing and just complaining about it (which usually only makes you more suicidal), maybe we should at least TRY to do something about it.
It definitely won’t be sunshine and rainbows,
but ANY kind of Meaningful change in human’s history have always been led by those FEW people who DARE and bold enough to kept voicing up their ideas & changes, despite the overwhelming cynicism even rejection from multitude of others initially!
So let’s do something about this.
