How do you tell a loved one you want to die?
In my experience, even telling someone that you’re feeling a bit down usually earns some negative judgement.
“What do YOU have to be so depressed about?” “Stop being so dramatic.” “Just look on the bright side.” “Find a hobby or something to do”
No, they don’t realize it’s very possible to lose interest in everything you once loved.
Even if you’re just a burden.
Much like my aunt.
My aunt is 48 years old and suffers from Schizophrenia and HIV. She has cost the family a lot of money and friends. She is a burden on my mother and grandmother.
Every one wishes she wasn’t around, except me. My aunt is the product of abuse and neglect.
But my grandmother will never be held responsible for the damage she’s done to her. Everyone just likes to over look that.
I overheard my mom saying that she should just kill herself so we can be free of her. And I wish I had that same permission to end my life…..
Guarantee no pain is left behind. But what I truly want just doesn’t matter. My life belongs to everyone but me.

damn that situation is just backwards but life does that just to complicate things it seems… but wow man, I feel for your aunt that’s harsh, nobody deserves that
Shit ain’t right
Yeah, really. I know it can be hard putting up with some one with mental disability but i don’t understand how my family members can be so heartless.
My aunt was raised in various crack/trap houses in the Washington D.C area.
Meanwhile, her mother was too strung out (heroin) to really raise her.
Always random men and junkies running in and out i can only imagine the things she’s seen. Now my grandmother has been sober for about 25 years and as for my aunt, the damage is just done.
That’s true our lives belong to everyone els because we can’t do what we want with our lives… *twitches*
That is unreal.
My aunt, who has done pretty well for herself, has told me “What do you have to complain about? You’ve got two good parents.” Or something along those lines. Shit, I guess if my parents are good, than everything is fine. Couldn’t possibly have anything to complain about. I figure the people who say that are probably more screwed up than me. If you need to pass judgement and assume everything is fine based some parents or your income or whatever, than they probably are just really messed up themselves looking for a quick pick-me-up. Would be great to just push a button and end it all.
