The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
When they read that Robert Frost picture book to us in kindergarten, I don’t think they were really telling us what his poem meant.

(Whose woods these are I think I know,
His house is in the village though.)

ps all literature, poetry (& moving pictures included) are not meant to tell you what it means, rather they are ‘trying’ to invoke the viewers curiosity to determine what is the hidden meaning/lesson.
That is the basis all good literature and film.
Something to look out for next time you read / watch something.
