Greetings all, i need some advice & guidance,
i was wondering if i could get some information about cremation services??,
i live in London & want to be cremated which i plan to pre pay so not to burden my family with that unnecessary anguish,
I have been on the co op and other websites but all seem to be too expensive advertising gold, silver, or bronze urns 😮 or they all include a service which i do not want as i am not religious at all.
Does anybody have any experience going through a cremation service for a loved one etc that can help me please,
i want to arrange my cremation before i die & the cheapest thing without any services whatsoever but i don’t know how to go about this.. the cheapest i found was like 950?
Any advice or guidance on this matter would be grately appreciated,
cheers

If I were doing it, I’d find an isolated, abandoned house, set it alight and kill myself, maybe just by inhaling the fumes.
Voilà : Suicide and free cremation all at once.
I think i would prefere a more realistic & practical method, thanks for the insights though
lol Muspelhem, you would likely survive and end up with 3rd degree burns over 90% of the body and spend the rest of your days in a hospital sipping through a feeding tube. not wise. Attila $950 sounds cheap. good luck finding cheaper.
“likely survive”?
Loads of people die in house fires all the time, look it up, carbon monoxide is very lethal.
Anyway, one could easily set the house alight, kill oneself and get “cremated” in the fire.
I know there would still be charred remains left, but the police could take care of them.
I honestly can’t see what’s so unrealistic about it, there are loads of abandoned houses, and fire is a very effective killer.
Loads of people survive burning buildings and structures as well. look it up. loads of people are admitted to hospitals daily with 3rd degree burns from burning buildings. look it up. the ones you read about not making it were usually pinned under something that had fallen and had to listen to their skin sizzling in the fire . your natural will to live will have you diving out the first exit you can find. That’s why you see people in the news diving out windows of highrise buildings that are on fire. the smell and feel of your own flesh burning and sizzling for about 5 to 10 minutes before passing out doesn’t sound appealing. it’s your body though. not mine.
Great movie!
Just a thought – I’ve heard you can donate your body to science (meaning they will study it, perhaps use bits ofit in a museum… ever seen the bodies museum?) They take care of all the costs.
I don’t think anybody sees my posts, but whatever. 2 things.
Can’t donate if u commit suicide.
Google “cremation society” and u should get some good results. Got mine from Internet Cremation Society, found one in my state and have already paid. $1500 – it’s not cheap.
For the fifth time Gabriel:
I suggested one could set fire to the house, THEN kill oneself (with whatever method one felt like, gun, poison, whatever).
OR, one could simply inhale the carbon monoxide. Your assumption that people die from being trapped and then getting roasted is hilarious. In the vast majority of cases, people die because they are overcome by the toxic fumes, amongst others carbon monoxide. Which, by the way, is so lethal that people have died just by being left for a few minutes on stretchers behind ambulances with the engines running.
Smoke Inhalations/Oxygen deprivation outnumber bun deaths by 2-1 … just saying.

Thanks dawg, for some much-needed facts 🙂 Anyway, sorry I derailed the discussion.
