…sucks. i hate it. EVERYONE has it and if u dont u dont have any way of comunicating with others. if u dont have facebook ur like an ”outcast”. i dont have it cause i havent got many friends nd b/c people judge u from what pics u have how many , what u do, what u like, etc .. i think it ruined societies way of keeping in touch,,so did blackberrys. phone calls dont exist anymore. its facebook or bbmessaging. what happened to the old ways ? i miss that

They don’t call, don’t write. That’s assuming that I had friends to begin with. Your lucky, people only ever call me when I get paid.
omg i thought iwas the only one who felt ths wy…i hate celphones n technoglhy iswant the smple life
samee. i mean i just wish my life right now was like back in the 90’s. i love that decade. where internet was also new to us
In some ways, technology is good, but I agree it has a negative effect too. Text messaging is kinda nice though, just think, years ago yeah people would have to make a phone call if they wanted to talk, but you wouldn’t normally call people just to tell them what you’re watching on TV or to ask how your day was. So in that sense, texting is kinda nice, instead of having to find time for a whole phone conversation you can just be in touch with people throughout the day.
Facebook is garbage and I no longer use it. It makes friendships and relationships so dramatic and stupid. Relationship statuses, getting jealous about who is talking to who, it just totally ruins relationships. It’s almost getting hard to remember the days when you were someone’s girlfriend or boyfriend just because you said so, instead of needing someone to “change their status” to make it official. No thanks. Only thing I use is Twitter, they don’t really let you have entire photo albums or relationship statuses, and it’s kinda cool that a lot of athletes and other people use it so you can follow them and know what their lives are like.
Yeah without Facebook you can kinda feel disconnected, but people who are your true friends will still stay in touch with you in other ways. Yesterday was my birthday and I’m sure if I still had FB tons more people would have wished me a happy birthday because they all would have had a nice little automatic notification, but instead I only had 4 or 5 people text me, but it meant more because these are the people who actually knew it was my birthday without FB needing to tell them.
Screw FB, and frankly I’m kinda not interested in knowing people who are super addicted to it or have 500 friends, I would never date a girl who is all over Facebook like that and I don’t wanna hang out with friends who are gonna take pictures all night just to show off what we’re doing on FB. I’d rather find people who are interested in real life and real relationships, although it isn’t easy to find them.
Technology has just introduced more ways to remind us how alone we are
people with i phones annoy me, a part of them goes missing, and is filled with obsession
i have an iphone..i love it!! but FB and BBM is totaly overrated!!!! and emptiness7 is soooo right!!!!
Very accurate and relevant observation of Facebook. I agree, people judge everything you do/say on FB.
