At this moment in time I am single and very lonely and really can’t think of anything worse. I have two failed marriages and a recent long term relationship failure and feel so alone and no purpose its untrue access is hard I have no energy or money (no work either) !
to enjoy such. No purpose in life is horrible and sole destroying I love my four kids/three grand kids more than anything in this world but feel I let then down 24/7 I am feeling depressed and sad most of the time. I can’t get my head around how God has deserted me when I have try so hard but failed in business ventures. At 56 can I pick myself up with out a partner I don’t know
At least if you’re single and lonely, you can legitimately try and do something about it. When you’re in a marriage or other long term relationship where there’s no intimacy left and you’re sleeping in separate rooms, but you can’t leave because you still care for your spouse as she is one of your oldest and dearest friends, it’s pretty hard.
I think it’s better to have tried and failed in a relationship than to never have had one.
Saying that, both ways can you can be happy or not.
Unfortunately I’m too screwed up for any kind of relationship
As an added bonus, there was one point where the one I was with didn’t want me, and the one that wanted me (and that I wanted) couldn’t have me. At least now, the one that wanted me but couldn’t have me appears to have moved on.

That trumps the single card.
I’m sorry.

Not really. The latter is a choice.
