You tell me we have a purpose in life.
You tell me I shouldn’t kill myself because I won’t fulfill my purpose.
My purpose, though, is to commit suicide.

I pretty sure my purpose is to commit suicide… I think it I’d what some of us are supposed to do or experience.
Definitely, I find it foolish that some believe that suicide is absolutely not “the purpose” of certain lives.
Death happens over 100 times a minute. It is nothing special. WE are nothing special. We are largely insignificant. All those deaths happen every minute and not one shakes you. Why should ours be any different?

I’ve been getting shit from my family about that cause I do believe in souls and life purposes to a certain degree and I’m pretty sure my soul signed up to commit suicide. Everyone’s got there story and for some it’s suicide…
So many awesome people on here. Anybody who thinks that committing suicide is their life’s purpose has done some serious thinking and treading where most people would not ever think of going. But those who stick around, help. I’m just grateful that there are other people who have gone through and are going through hell now, like me.
I don’t think anyone/anything in this world has a purpose in life. In reality, people end up doing what they actually want, not what they have to.

We’re born to do what we want. We have a choice in everything. You all don’t have to kill yourselves. It’s not your purpose. Nobody in this world is born with a certain purpose. We’re all equal. I think that god created us to make this world a better place. And when you guys decide to leave, the world we’re in, will be a little bit colder if you’re gone. Please don’t go …

I’m not sure that we end up doing what we want Kalisue. If that were the case surely there would be a lot fewer people on here?
I don’t think anyone’s purpose is suicide. I think that implies a very cruel world and life. OK you’re gonna tell me it IS a cruel world and life…I know what you’re saying. But I still don’t agree that we were born to die by our own hand. Maybe I can’t even say why I think that. I just do.

Life will always throw things at you that make living so hard. We live in such a rat race that it’s inevitable with any race people will fall and not finish. I am a strong believer that obstacles are put in front of us for us to learn and improve. Strength in mind and soul is only built through facing these demons and not giving up! Suicide is giving up! I was suicidal for many years with many attempts but now 10 years on i am so grateful my attempts were unsuccessful as I have a loving family with 2 kids and have found the direction i so lacked when I was at my worst. The emptiness you all feel is not permanent and just a moment in time. The brain has an amazing ability of re adjusting itself with time as time is an amazing healer. I’m sure my words are not going to change your views as nothing could have changed mine but just know that this is a temporary sentence not a life sentence. With a little strength and readjusting you can all make it through the correct way!
