Imaginary friends for treating loneliness = Unhealthy?
I HAVE AN IMAGINARY FRIEND FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS THAT HAS BEEN MY CONSTANT COMPANION. MY QUESTION IS, DOES HAVING A IMAGINARY FRIEND AS AN ADULT IS A GOOD MEANS TO COMBATE & FILL THE VOID OF LONELINESS SINCE REAL, PHYSICAL, IN PERSON HUMAN INTERACTIONS (FRIENDS) ARE VERY HARD TO COME BY FOR ME???

No . But a IMAGINARY friend will never fuck you over or up. It’s about tryin to meet people who are word. Just know people you are one too. Try to make good friend’s
No, but I sleep with a stuffed bear named Harvey. The cat that may or may not sleep with me is real 🙂
I talk wioth myself, convos in the head, tho i always know its me im talking to, i cant see the problem with an imaginary friend as long as u dont get drunk and try groping it in public
People are finding various ways to cope with the increasing stresses that accompany life in today’s society. Many of the ways people cope are considered taboo. One example is role play. In it’s days of origin, many members of society saw “Dungeons and Dragons”, as anything from bizarre, to affiliated with “Devil worship”. RPG’s are slowly becoming more mainstream. I don’t see how your situation is much different.
i think thats called schizophrenia. at least thats the way my schizo friend would descripe this situation.
Sounds like your just projecting out of loneliness. No one on here can ultimately answer your question because we are not mental health professional, if you want to get mentally assessed I suggest you talk to your dr.
You certainly get a lot of questions on here but the most important question anyone need concern themselves with today is whether Beauty Parlour can win the Sun Chariot Stakes. Having her first race for Sir Henry Cecil she looks to have excellent credentials but it’s a difficult race that may produce a shock result.
I don’t have any real friends so I suppose they are all imaginary to me 🙂
Siyouma wins the Sun Chariot as Beauty Parlour fails to land a blow. 🙁
