Every breath
we’ve lost our game
Are we undead?
let me go ahead
Drain your heart, drain your veins
no love means no pain
I drink bleach and anesthesia
injections of kisses and magnesia
I need a clue
the signal of the truth
cowards are unhappy
smells like nappies
Because of my empathy
thanks to my human side
that’s why I’m burning your eyes
don’t want you to feel that cold inside

this poem made me cry. those few lines are so full of emotion and understandable. it explains the pain we feel inside that we feel like if we put into words, we’ll look crazy. like that first moment you lets someone in and tell them about my self harm, they look at you like your phycotic. and some just dont understand. they make it worse, their harmful words that are supposed to supposubly “wake you up”
“why would you cut yourself? thats so stupid. you know you could die!?” they dont realize or even ask the real reason for it. all they do it JUDGE. stay strong little beauty. i hope things get better for you.
Wow, thanks a lot. I thought that here would be like with my classmates, I make poetry about the pain that people usually suffer and they’re like “this is weird”.
They’re always judging. It tires you.
