I can’t stand the pain. I had thoughts of suicide long before this, for a different  reason, but now the physical pain has made it a no-brainer. It’s sad that nobody (or very few people) can understand the sheer agony I’ve been living with. When I try to explain, they just zone out. I’ve only met 1 person who has suffered from the same condition… she told me childbirth was nothing compared to this, that all she wanted to do was shoot her brains out.  She was able to get expensive surgery to fix the problem. Me, I can’t even afford the painkillers. Suicide is so much cheaper than a doctor. It’ll fix all my other problems, too. This is how I solve healthcare. This is how I solve unemployment. This is how I solve insanity, loneliness, misanthropy, agoraphobia, ugliness, guilt, regret, depression, poverty, and all the other shit I live with. Suicide  is free.

Can’t you get help from the government? Like go on a waiting list for the surgery or have a public health care organisation pay for painkillers?
“I can’t stand the pain.”
Can I ask the nature of this pain ?
“It’s sad that nobody (or very few people) can understand the sheer agony I’ve been living with. When I try to explain, they just zone out.”
Well, I have a bad news for you – some people here don’t either. They just gave you automaton responses, and call it a day. To make things even worse, when you tell them that (that they don’t have a clue, really care), show it to them, then all the hell brakes loose.
“Me, I can’t even afford the painkillers. Suicide is so much cheaper than a doctor.”
Yup, countries should fight poverty first, not “terrorism”, because poverty, no hope for the future that it brings, is the reason for some people to say: “Fuck it, I’m gonna blow myself, so at least my family gets some money”.
“It’ll fix all my other problems, too.”
Yes it can. But unfortunately world in general is based on the whole: “living is a gift, suicide is a sin” philosophy, so…

Not much as solve, as end it (for the person in question). But sometimes you can only end it.
“Suicide is free.”
Yup. But it could be a great business. Imagine:
– “Suicide-o-Matic” you can buy on-line, so you won’t have to go through messy failures.
– “Rent a helpful hand” – a person that helps you end it in a civilized way.
– “Suicide 101” – a course that teaches how to make it right.
etc., etc.
@ Quiet, There might be government programs to help people like me, but I’ve had enough of fighting with the government.
@ Connection, I don’t know exactly what this is since they never could give me an answer. It’s in the brain whatever it is. I had extensive tests and an MRI done years ago and one doctor thought it was a tumor on my optic nerve. If it was, it’s probably taken over my entire head by now.
That was years ago, and not only am I too poor to afford doctors, I’m sick of them.
Those are great thoughts, Connection. Especially the problem with terrorism. I’m in so much pain & misery right now, I’d blow myself up for a $10 bill so I could buy a good martini before I go.
I like your suicide business ideas. For a laugh you should go to youtube and look up “GLADD Group”. There’s a sweet old lady who sells suicide kits on the internet. The world needs more sweet old ladies.
