You are beautiful. Don’t ever believe what anyone else says about you. Click on this link. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/galia-slayen/the-scary-reality-of-a-re_b_845239.html
Since we’re young we’re taught we have to be perfect just like barbie. You have to be skinny, have big hips small waist, big bust, and be flawless just like her. Otherwise you were nothing. Barbie is not perfect. All our quirks and flaws make us who we are. They make us beautiful. Beauty comes in every size, shape, and form. Marilyn Monroe, considered to be one of the sexiest women of all time wasn’t a size zero. She was a 14/16. Be yourself, be you. It’s in the word. BEYOUtiful.

Your words are so true..Since I was a like 5 I wanted to be as pretty and perfect as a plastic dum doll…………..now I know I am better that
I am one of those media victims you talk about. I have a lot to say about the subject but I am currently in pain, ironically from a plastic surgery. I’ll go bad to this post later. You are right about a few things but it’s too hard to change what society advertises you should offer as a woman. Publicity manipulates our subconscious mind we all influence by it one way or the other. Marilyn Monroe was popular being a size 14 only in her tie when that was trendy. The concept of beauty keeps changing…
I wish I could write more but now I can’t. It’s this fucked up society’s values that is killing people. It’s a nice idea to want to rebel against this phenomenon but I highly doubt that it will ever be defeated. So many teenage girls crying in their rooms wishing they were popular in school… I was one of them… Hopefully the find strength and confidence in other aspects within themselves like their personally and intelligence… It’s to late for me. I wish we didn’t have to be bombarded with these pressures of having to be “perfect”.
I’m a personal trainer. I look and act the part, so I get paid and most of my female clients pay me to make them look like a “Barbie”. When it comes to my preference, as in the women I date, I won’t go near the spoiled little Barbie girls. I dated plenty of them in high school and they were never as interesting or as fun to be around, as the girls who nurtured more than their nails. Don’t let society tell you that you have to look like in order to find your prince charming or for guys to find you attractive.Honestly, if you look through any adult magazine Playboy, Penthouse, etc. Most of the girls are a little bit thick. If guys found anorexics pretty, then how come they never make the “centerfold”. I would post a link to prove my point, but I’d probably get kicked off this site. LOL
This is one of the nicest things i’ve read in a long time. Thank you 🙂
So glad my parents raised me as a guy right now. I never wanted to look like that, ugh and never will. cuz looking like barbie is gross. cuz she’s stupid to begin with. Solution(possibly) for you people who feel pressured by being bombarded by pics of ‘perfect’ people and such: STOP WATCHING TV!!! Plus there’s not really anything of interest on except Dr. Who and commercials suck except for on that one football day that ALWAYS happens on my birthday or when I’m going to have a party. oh yeah, the Super Bowl. football is stupid unless you’re the one playing it. same with all other sports. WOOT!!! lol sorry for the mini rant 😀
@Emotionlessandlost, I NEVER watch T.V. I NEVER buy magazine, etc. I don’t need too, I get al, the information about celebrities from people around me. Should I avoid them as well like I did with the media. I think I am already doing it. Is usually goes, have you heard about the latests news on so and so… Oh, so and so is so hot, if I were another so and so I’d marry her in a second… Anyway, I hope you know that the only way to block this mentally is either going to Tibet or exiting this fucking planet.
