Hi trippyt:) I’ve resumed my twice daily meditation practice this week after a 10 month hiatus. I feel so relieved..wish I could share this with all of you here on SP. I started meditating in 2005 after a sudden spiritual awakening I had in 2002-03 that ended disastrously in the Hospital (lol). I’ve had depression for more than 17 years..it’s a tough battle. How about you? what got you into meditation?

I’ve been into meditation for the past 13 years off and on. I haven’t done it for a while now, but I think I’ll start meditating again. I find the best meditation is when I sit on my bed and meditate until I fall asleep. Sometimes I don’t even remember going to sleep when I wake up in the morning. Meditation is one of the best ways to calm your mind and relax and I think its worth trying when a person is in crisis.
I Use Soundscapes… Either on u-tube or cable channel…it really calms me down…and i use it to sleep also… For me …it works …with meds and soundscapes..i sleep good..I meditate in my own way..
