I think it will be a lot like the millions of years before we were born or like the blink of an eye or both at the same time. An experience that transcends time, space, and consciousness. Who knows?
Or maybe those folks who follow ancient Arabian fairy tales are right, and we will be rewarded or punished after death.
there is no empirical evidence to suggest there is anything at all after death … people commonly refer to the time after death as empty or darkness or sleep and even heaven or hell … but the only realistic description is nonexistence … at death our conscience , or individual being ceases to exist … when this happens there is nothing left to “experience” anything after death … death is end, plain and simple … of course you are free to believe anything you wish … the upside is, since you cease to exist, you can’t be disappointed when you “find” there is nothing “on the other side” since you have to “exist” to be able to “experience” disappointment

I don’t know. I just want eternal sleep personally. I don’t want to exist ever again after this shitty existence.
i agree. an eternal afterlife would be pure torture; even in heaven.
