I went to my counsellor today, and she asked me this question “What are your 3 wishes?” I responded with this for one of my wishes- “For people to realise that there are more options than suicide.”
If people came to acknowledge that fact, would the beautiful souls who had taken their lives still be here today?

Did you hear my facepalm just now?
No?
Well let me try again…
Suicide is the “option” to cease an unbearable existence… almost always as a last resort. What other options exist to stop living a life that can’t be changed enough to avoid being miserable?
Then again, what else are you supposed to say to your counselor… “i wish i was dead”? (lol)
Something that always bothers me that i suddenly feel like mentioning:
When people say someone “took their own life,” what exactly is that supposed to mean?
Whose life is this, anyway? How can i “take” what i already have, which is only mine to own, possess, and operate?
“Take?”
I think that sounds like intentional doublespeak. If anything, people who suicide are GIVING UP their life, not “taking” it.
No I didn’t hear your facepalm, cause its not necessary. People lives can be so horrible to the point nothing will change it, but there are a lot of inspirational figures who have survived through say, torturing bullying. They become something in the future. Like, I posted a picture of a comedians bullying story. I think especially people who have these mental illnesses who go through the pain and see suicide as the only option, have this almost unreachable option of getting help. It’s very relieving to spill the beans to someone who can actually help you, like a therapist or counsellor. And with the “took their own life” thing, I guess they call it like that because they take their own life away from themselves.. I guess..
