Ariel Castro, kidnapper and rapist, died by suicide by hanging in his prison cell. Why should he die so quick and easy. Every day we see the worst and cruelest of people living comfortably and dying easy. A Jew slowly freezes to death in the concentration camp but Adolph Hilter swallows a pill and disappears. A scientist vivisects a helpless animal screaming in pain and terror, that animal dies in agony, the scientist dies in old age in his sleep. God it drives me mad, it is like the whole universe exists in favour of the evil ones.

Jesus Christ died a horrible death and the people who did died in there sleep
I hate seeing animals hurt

You make very valid points. The irony is, “Can’t we all just get along?” for whatever reason; the weak were made to make the strong, stronger.
Hey rach, once again you’ve expressed perfectly what’s getting me down. Is it possible that we have this whole “justice” thing completely upside down? We’re always told that everything will work out; or if you have the misfortune of coming from a religious family like I did, you’ve heard all the clichés: “the meek shall inherit the earth”, “god will punish the wicked”, etc. But I really believe that’s backwards.
The universe rewards the strong. That’s about the only cosmic truth I see. Sometimes (very very rarely) a strong force or ideal is “good”. But in general most strong forces, ideals & individuals are destructive, self-serving and “evil”. Moreover, I would say “goodness”, compassion, sensitivity & selflessness are traits of weakness, and that’s why we’ll always lose to the rapists, murderers, corporate billionaires, governments and mobs that aren’t held back by those qualities.
In short, “goodness” is a lame horse just waiting to be shot in the head.
Jeez. I swear I was trying to wrap this up with a positive thought but it just went downhill fast. Well I sorta came up with a nice thought in your extinction thread… If you can wait 5-8 million years
