Sometimes, there isn’t always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Sometimes, there is light at the begining of the tunnel and we must take the light into the darkenss with us, into the unknown.
You must hold that light close and value it for being all that you have.
Although some lights are brighter, we must be thankful for what we are given to guide us, and not being left to total blindness.
We must stay positive that ,even though we can’t see what awaits for us at the end of the tunnel, we can still find our way through the confusion.
It might seem endless, and as if our light will fade eventually, but before you know it you’ve reached the end where you’ve found yourself comforted by the darkness.
And you look back to see that even with your light, you’ve only lived through darkness.
Everything around you going unseen and unnoticed.
Because you were only looking for the end of the tunnel

i hold the candle all the way around.until people conspired on me and blow it away.
Well your hope and beliefs are not the kind of light that people can put out so easily. It’s your choice if you would let some one blow out your light or replace it with one that fits your eyes more better.
I like how you compared candles to hope….it will fit my comment perfectly….I think everyone is born with a different sized and different strength of candle (hope)….In life….its not a tunnel….but rather a maze within a tunnel…..full of dead ends, mirrored wall, pitfall and traps…. all while the cold wind of hopelessness blows throughout the maze…..now some people have candles that won’t go out they go through the maze and get fucked up along the way but their candle remains intact until the exit at the end of the maze….then you have others….who are holding onto this flickering candle….while at the same time its burning their hand from holding onto this flickering bit of light that isn’t helping them navigate the darkness much anyway….(Ever had a flashlight with the battery low? and you need it to see in the basement and the light is so dim you can barely see anything? ….like that)
The winds of hopelessness grow stronger and for those with flickering candles….they go out…
wow! that was touching.thank you rt.i am on that mood right now.i will right about the conspiracy tomorrow.
I didn’t compare it to candles! lol there is a difference for a reason, being that a candle’s light would suggest that we all have the same uniform dim glow, but some people have much stronger hopes..yes!
Hope is fucked mate, its slowly dying, barely able to warm the heart of man let alone fend off the darkness. I say abandon hope and surrender to the darkness, once uve surrendered become its minnion, then uve nothing to fear, the darkness is where all the fun is. That’s why people go out during the night to pubs because they know deep down that the darkness is fun and going out when its dark is their subconscious telling them that. Abandon the light and come to the darkness.
That’s kinda what my last few lines suggest..
” but before you know it you’ve reached the end where you’ve found yourself comforted by the darkness.””And you look back to see that even with your light, you’ve only lived through darkness.”
Hope holds some truth to it, it’s a pragmatic response to a situation in many cases, it has an intended effect and that’s to allow you to see that there is a chance that things may change for the better. Realistically things will not remain the same and change isn’t invariably negative. If you wait long enough and in the process commit effort into changing a situation something will change eventually… if you make decisions wisely change leans towards a more beneficial result.
I brought my flashlight but forgot the extra fucking batteries.
