Sometimes the top begins at the bottom

I want to say that nearly half the males in my family have contemplated suicide at some point in their life.  For some reason, men are taking their lives at nearly five times the rate of women.  I have had friends and family disappear, overdose or lose their life.  I thank God for one who still lives…he became a best friend and between him and some damn good women in my life ,they lead me through the most depressing time of my life.  I’m not exempt from the statistics of contemplation.  But when I came out if it, I found my life back on track.  I have finally become a published author…my life long dream.  And my first e-book, Ortega Sunday, was written about a fiction character who did take his life in suicide, and it was dedicated to good men who are no longer with us.  But basically, I believe that, for many of us, a great big purpose awaits us…and sometimes our life’s greatest success is preceded by our greatest fall
