She closes her pale blue eyes alone to see crimson red as the tears of blood run down her cheeks. The blood tears drop down into the water much like the unbearable grains of sand in the hour glass of time. Each drop of blood scatters in the water. The water raffles as the blood scatters. Then the young girl drops to her knees in the freezing snow that covers the grass. Now the snow is becoming stained with the crimson red tears of betrayal. What was once pure has now been tainted with the sin of men. The snow scatters crimson as she opens her eyes to take one last look at the pale moonlight sky. This is when she realizes how silly it all really was. Her past few months on earth that is.
Everything came falling apart when the summer began. Nothing new to her though, because it always happened now a days. Now she realizes how new it would really be to her. This was the last time. The last summer she would ever get to spend with her family. Her last summer to ever spend in a warm home where she could see mother in the kitchen and father helping her, or see her brother in his room yelling at that video game of his again. This time was the end of it all. Her whole world cashed down on her like a silent tree falling in the woods that no one would find until later. So her family split up? She could handle it, but what she didn’t expect was for it all to disappear.
Her mother vanished from her life almost all together after she went back to living with her drunk father. Her father never around when she needed him the most and if he was he would always be drunk. Every now and then she would see her mother and be happy. The reality is that she no longer had a home. No, she had began to lose it all. See she thought it was bad. She didn’t know. Her dad wasn’t who she thought and neither was her mother for that matter. It had all been a lie.
Was that all she would ever get was lies? Everything had turned out to be false. She turned out to be something she didn’t even recognize in the mirror anymore. She was turning slowly into a ghost of her old self. A true phantom of nothingness that was the underlining fault of her since of true emptiness that overwhelmed her own heart. This was now the reality she had to come to grip with. Her old life as she knew it was now and forever gone.
Did she even want it back though? All the fights. All the sadness. All the nights up on end waiting to see if anyone died. She didn’t want to lose her parents. She took responsibility of what she could, but that still wasn’t enough to them. She gave it everything and all she wanted in return was to be loved. She wanted both in her life, but the truth is she could keep both. One disappeared when the other was in her life. No matter how many times she tried in the end it was all in vain.
Life seemed to be cruel and unusual to her, but wasn’t that the beauty of the game? To never know the outcome until it happened? But what if she was tired of the game? What if she was tired of the lies and stupidity? It wouldn’t change the fact that everything happens for a reason.
That’s the funny part. Everything happens for a reason. Her birth happened for a reason that she would only hope to find out someday, but now she wouldn’t. She would never find out why she was put here on this earth because this was her finally act in the game of life. Her final act. To disappear into thin air like she never existed. If someone was to disappear and the only people who noticed was those closest would that mean they would carry on for her? Hold her existence in their heart?
Even if in the cycle of life she was just a small part because in that cycle everything is equal. Everything dies and comes back. Everything carries that soul spirit and will to live but at the same time everything has the date of death that has led them to eternal damnation in the good lord’s name. Which means while being saved you must first go through the most painful feeling of all and that is the dread death.
So here it is her final act.
Her expression flicks to a smile as she thinks of the humor in all of this and then just like that she dies. She is gone forever in the grains of time to be forever lost. Her hand was reaching out the whole time and no one listened to her. They just added more responsibilities, but now it was all over for her. The sad part is she will never be heard. She will never know her reason for being born.
So if a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it make a sound of is it just background music for her lost soul?

Could you please stop living in the shadow of your family? I can tell that you are old enough to build your own family, go out, spread your wings, make your own mistakes and most important is to learn. There is a big world waiting for you to see, and many opportunities that you should grab. If everything is bad, then be stronger than this, tell yourself that you control your destiny. You are a smart, beautiful, great person, one day, you’ll find that person who will enlight the darkness within your scarred soul, one day you’ll be able to provide the warmth you once lack, one day you’ll have your own little girl, and who will look up to you. Stay strong, you’ll find a great man who will wrap you in his arms and make you forget the world, he will look in your deep blue eyes and whisper “you are the best thing I’ve ever done”. I bet you want this. Life will become much easier when you find your own voice, the voice hidden underneath your most fears. E.
