Most of you are currently being mind-controlled, and don’t even realize it. I would say “it’s hilarious,” if only it weren’t so cripplingly diabolical and terrible.
I have neither read nor watched it, but have interacted with some who have, and have read some review blurbs here and there… and from what i gather, The Hunger Games is essentially an allegory for the real world, done in a semi-realistic, semi-hyperbolic way.
The Hunger Games is an extraordinary allegory of the oppressive meaninglessness of mere existence and the rising up, even there, of the hero (heroine) who begins as empathetic and ultimately realizes her own nobility. Incredible and inspiring on so many levels.
I’m part of the game because there’s no escape, not because i don’t know the mind-control mechanisms exist. My mind isn’t “controlled” like that of a typical person, though i am certainly influenced and afflicted by the conditions imposed upon me by a system “too big to fail.”
So when i say “most of you,” the distinction is that i see what’s happening, while “most of you” don’t. But it is, however, clear to me, that many people do seem to feel an intuitive sense of suspicion about how things often just don’t add up… that sort of instinctive “something is amiss” feeling… but most people don’t see what is actually amiss, with any discernible clarity. Many go wildly in the wrong direction, in search of understanding about those things that don’t add up, and there is plenty of misinformation, even disinformation out there, meant to have people chasing wild geese.
I can’t honestly say that “most of you” are aware of being mind-controlled, but that doesn’t mean that i think “no one” sees it, even if i sometimes oversimplify and say exactly that. Obviously, some other people see it… or i would never have encountered the information they made available, for the purpose of helping others understand just what can be seen, if you know how and where to look… or perhaps more importantly, why you should be looking.

YES doesn’t it feel like malicious forces are playing with our lives?
Yep. Perhaps it’s President Snow…

Haymitch is hot. I would get drunk with him, easy. Johanna is also welcome to join us.
“Most of you?” You’re part of this game too, clevername

And most of us do know it. Hence the deeper meaning if The Hunger Games
Heroine?
