Has anyone considered death by hypothermia? It’s pretty cold here in the UK currently, I was thinking of walking up a mountain one night and getting drunk then taking my clothes off so I’d get hypothermia and permanently fall asleep. Maybe some sleeping pills for that extra push over the edge.
Does anyone know if it actually works? How painful would it be (if you’re not drunk first)?

People who have come close have reported a warm calm feeling…
Mostly they were in water.
This method is quite common. Especially amongst the penguin and polar bear community. That and starvation.
What’s the temperature in UK now?
It is not nessacery to take off all ur clothes.. just jacket…
Alcohol helps to make ur temperature goes down and helps u to fall asleep…
U won’t feel pain cuz u won’t even realize what is happening to u.. u will die while u r sleeping.. it is one of painless way to exit… u better be really drunk though
Dear Cameronhateschristmas,
I live in the cold north, i have been through the ice a couple times on snowmobiles. This is how it went for me, Exhausting, fingers will not responded, hard to breath, world feels heavy, don’t really notice the cold much get on top of the ice and the clothes freeze solid and block most the wind, leaving movement at the knees. Feet no sensation, ankles hurt like a *****, Then you just lie down and every part of me i had ever done great injury to hurts with like needle poking electricity, then calm. very calm. Then my buddies load me up and bring me too a warm place. I spend a lot of time in the cold rivers and forests of maine, if i ever go i wouldn’t mind this way or drowning in the said rivers tearing up a class 4 run. However, why rush this. Why not tell us what has lead you to this road? Lets talk about this, i am here to listen.
Freezing hurts a lot. I think it would be better to jump in a cold river or something like that.
