Option 1: Work hard, Create a company, Die naturally perhaps happily
Option 2: Try to find the answer to the question ” Why human life is pointless”, Â suicide one fine day
Option 3: Go to Himalaya, practice how not to think anything (meditation) because thinking on ” why human life is pointless?” Â is also pointless. wait till death happens

Is it pointless though?
depends on which option I choose
Addicted, i think a mix between number one and number three could be rewarding
Work hard towards Option One, add a sprinkle of Option Two and a dash of Option Three to boot. All things in moderation, I suppose.
o2 is contradicting with itself and with o1
there is a war between o1 and o3
I recently met a guy (who left big position at Microsoft and choose o3) in his perspective spending life long in o1 is foolish
I also has friend of mine who is very successful( startup, funding, own office) in life always wanted to choose o2
o1 always influence you to go for o2 or o3
while I trying for o1, it making me to give a thought on o2, o2 helped me to find sp
o2 is very addictive, reasonable and logical
Option 4: Go to college to study genetic engineering. Strive towards starting a bio-tech firm. Once established, begin research on engineering amoebas that eat every sort of material imaginable. Then unleash them on the world and watch it get consumed by ravenous amoebas.
Yeah, but bio-tech firm unimaginable for me. if i do, i want to build a product which can upload human brain to computer. such that, we don’t need to rely on physical body. its kind of making human conscious eternal with camera as eyes, voice recording as ears, internet as world. with that you can read books, reply to mails, code what ever language you want, learn stuff, think ……and importantly spend enough amount of time on sp. You can choose when to switch off or on or restart freshly…
There is logic in this world but even logic is built on chaos.
I don’t believe chaos exists, in reality. I think chaos is an adjective we humans rely on when confronted with the enormity of the universe and our own inability to fully understand it.
Yeah, brilliant post. but unfortunately life does have a meaning and as intelligent people we should find the honesty to say: it’s not like this life isn’t enjoyable, it’s just the piece of shit that i am that can’t find it good.
Sorry man, i’m by your side but i think it’s foolish (and presumptuous) to assume life is pointless. so it becomes:
O1: go to a fucking psychiatrist and get a prescription of Prozac for elephants
O2: live unhappily your entire life
O3: go to himalaya and live you unhappy life there
O4: Follow your dreams and help as many people as you can along the way. You do that and I would never even consider your life to have been pointless.
I do consider helping others is not a pointless thing. for example if a kid is hungry and i give him an apple, it is logical and meaningful thing. This scenario is only for insentient beings.
if you see big picture of life, does it really meaningful?
I am all for 3.
