Although the superficial, cliche presentation of this statement I enjoy the philosophy of it. “Never give up” is meant as reminder to delve into the core of your circumstances and problems in order to understand them and this come to a conclusion on how to solve and alleviate them. I can’t emphasize enough that there is not always a solution to problems, but almost always there can be compromises to make and actions to take to mitigate the significance of it. It means to not take the easy way out, as it’s extremely easy to give up and refuse to exert effort into solving your problems, which is understandable because self pity and self destruction is terribly addictive.
Self indulgence is not bad, but when it becomes excessive and truly destroying your life is when you need to take action and encourage yourself to take matters into your own hands. No one is going to come to your rescue, people can encourage you, be there and support you, but in the end it is entirely up to you how you are going to react to this problem and how you are going to commit to changing it. Don’t deprive yourself of happiness of relief just because you lack the motivation to do, it’s and endless, detrimental cycle, the first step to change is realizing that you want to change and kindling it. Once you commit to change change will happen eventually. Perhaps not the change that you intended for, but change will happen and paraphrasing Mccandless, man’s spirit comes from change because that’s what true, real life is, beyond the perpetual redundancies that contemporary life is. Encourage change, embrace change, be the change you want to see in the world and in yourself. Good luck 🙂
too your problems ? What is your problem ? A football can’t be played on table tennis; so does some phrases. In order not to giveup and never surrender, the problems should be changeable. But putting an effort for things that “may” not change… Is probably the worst choice. In this case Instead of trying to change ” the unchangeable” it will be better to start “adapting” the change. Accept it and move on.actually this should be the priority in most scenarios; adapting to changes has to come before “reversing” changes. Adapting the change will help you over come the change and the problems the change brings; therefore maintaining a strong mental situation for the next challenge. It maybe reversing the change or accepting the change “chronically” and moving on.
