Well, where do I start? …
It’s complicated, I don’t even know how the things got this way…
First of all, what is nihilism?.Nihilism (from the latin nihil, nothing) is an ideology, a rational way of thinking and interpreting the cosmic reality. It’s not a belief or anything like that, nihilism is based in scientific evidences and phylosophy.Science has evolved a lot, and it’s evolving even faster lately. The mysteries are but puzzles, but almost all the pieces are now found and placed, allowing us to better understand the universe that surrounds us.Cosmology, biology, quantum physics, showing us how did the universe begin and how it works, and that’s really important because this can affect our lives, they explain how we got here.Unfortunately an inherent meaning of life doesn’t exists, our lives just happen, some of us were planned to be born by their parents but their parents’ minds belong to a subjective reality and CANNOT change the objective reality.Life is a objetive reality, an natural biological phenomenon that can be described as continuous process of chemical metabolic reactions occuring in propicious environment.A subjective reality can’t change the objective reality’s aspects, for example, if you want to be a doctor and make this desire the “meaning of your life” you’re being naive, you could just be a doctor without making this the “meaning of your life”, and you could just live without being a doctor.See? making “meanings” it’s an illusion, it’s just like choosing a favorite color, you’ll change the subjective reality (your mind) not the objective reality, you can change the way you’ll live but you can’t change life itself.
The DNA, works just like a recipe, it determines the structural form of cells, and the DNA tends to replicate determining the structure of the cells.Your entire body is programmed to live and reproduce, that’s why sex feels so good. That’s the truth, life is but an amount of atoms, good and evil and morality are human creations (fake), there’s no intrinsic meaning in life, the creation of a meaning is unnecessary and illusory, the universe is indiferent. So it doesn’t really matter if you live or not.

False.
lol…
my stance on this matter is that lacking any evidence or indication of any particular meaning, does not /necessarily/ mean there isn’t a meaning… even when that notion is contradicted by all the evidence and indications to suggest the contrary (that there is no meaning).
It’s just way too complicated to articulate it so precisely, so it’s far easier to just say “there is no meaning” (just as it’s just far easier to say “there is no god,” even though we can’t really be sure, since we can’t test the entirety of existence, to determine that no god exists anywhere else either).
If there is a meaning, no one knows what it is. If there is a god, no one knows how to define it, because it’s never been shown to interact with reality.
It’s easier to just accept what the evidence shows: It is absent, whether it exists or not… and in that absence, it is just easier to say “it doesn’t exist” (even when it could, in some form we are not able to observe or test).
If i ever encounter any evidence that requires my mind to change on the matter, then my mind will change. Until then… “there is no meaning; there is no god.” Simplify, move on, spend time on stuff that can be progressed or advanced, in the absence of answers to unanswerable questions.

“Truth, you can never know the truth…”
Thanks for explaining nihi in greater detail however. Carry on.
literally, your whole post is a verbose articulation of the “no shit”, most of us went to high school
Guys this is just a simple explanation, that we learn even before high school. There are people that have difficulties to accept that life isn’t a fairy tale. It’s the basics, I didn’t go deep into the thing because it’s hard to me talking about science and phylosophy without using my first idiom (portuguese).
as i suspected: this post was intended mostly for those who wouldn’t know reality if it slapped them across the face.
Meaning is something that yields from the agent itself. It is similar to principal values or morals. There are no stone tablets out there with the meaning of life written on them. You have to find it from yourself no matter how cheesy that may sound.
Principal values may be what they are because of various reasons but I don’t see how this is relevant to an individual, or how this could devour the importance of these values.
I want to add that I don’t believe in objective reality or truth. If there was an objective reality, you would still observe it through your subjective mind and so it still would not be possible to tell the difference between the two. This is of course trivial and I understand that the concept of objective reality is plausible for practical purposes. Nevertheless, I would sign the following: if mind truly believes something, then that something is real in every sense of the word.
