My little brother was in an accident tonight. Was thrown from the truck. Yes, there was alchol involved and he is a minor but that is not the big issue for me right now.
He wanted me to come get him and not my dad. When I told my dad where I wanted to go he told me if I went to get him I would get kicked out of our house. Im so torn and so depressed. I can’t be the big sister I need to be because fear of getting kicked out. I really just want to go to sleep and never wake up. But I have a loving boyfriend of a year and most of my family loves me but here recently its been really hard to stay happy.

My father said the same shit to me, I just happened to leave of my own accord way before he went through with it. Life is better (kinda).

Yeah its a tough situation you are in. What your parents dont want to get him out of there.
that is rough >what do they want to do just leave him there on his own with no support?
that is cruel even if he made a mistake
why dont you call a friend of yours and have them go see him and report to you on his condition
and you can always send a car or a gift to his room if he is in the hospital
I am sorry, but that is a difficult situation for everyone to deal with. It may become better as your family comes to grips with what happened. I obviously don’t know you or your family, but your dad may just be scared. It’s scary having someone you love come so close to death, even if he walked away with minimal injuries. if you don’t mind me asking, when you say he wanted you to come “pick him up”, do you mean from the hospital? I’m guessing he has relatively minor injuries if he wants to be picked up…
And just to clarify, I wasn’t defending your dad’s actions. I was just coming up with a reason why he may be acting like that. People do weird/out of character things when scared was all that I was trying to say. Sorry if I sounded otherwise
He did not go to the hospital. He does not get along with my dad and left the house a couple weeks ago thus the reason why he wanted me to come get him. He is at the er now with his girlfriend who was also thrown from the truck but my dad still would not let me go.
