Riding a bicycle into traffic. No one but me would ever know it was not an accident. But I would not be around to tell. Will I do it? Probably never. But with life going to crap so much recently, I have been thinking about it a lot.

That sounds like a painful road to choose. Unfortunately, it’s very possible that you’ll just end up in the hospital in a worse place than what you’re experiencing right now (if that’s possible).

I’m with everyone else. There is some possibility that you will survive in an even worse place than you are in now. Imagine being paralyzed and/or so disabled afterward that no matter how miserable and hopeless you felt, you wouldn’t even be able to take your own life if you wanted to???
While I don’t think you should take your life at all – this sounds like it could just make things worse (even if worse doesn’t seem possible).
Even though you say ‘probably never’, should you ever consider it an option, think it over.
