I dislike them, I really really really dislike holidays .
Holidays are days when family members come together and become fake as hell; They act like they weren’t talking shit about each other every other day.

I’m not celebrating it with them, I think I’m just going to drive down to the beach and enjoy thanksgiving on my own .

EXACTLY, It’ll be fun. Plus, I don’t have to worry about anybody else but myself.
You see I totally get that. I used to disappear for days. Can’t do that any longer, got people that would seriously have issue with that. So I partially disappear if that makes any sense.

They make you feel like there is. My response today was “when someone who has actually talked to me since last thanksgiving (family fall out and Christmas was canceled last year) asks me to come I will consider it. ” That will not happen because the first time I was contacted by them was Monday and they have been blowing me up saying I “HAVE to eat thanksgiving dinner”
I can buy my own rolls and wine thank you… That’s usually all I go for anyways. Over my dead body will I go to any dinners.
@abisslover: This is why I live almost exactly 1000 miles away from my family. Hey family, you want me there for the holidays? Send me 4 (countem 4) plane tickets and rent me a car for the week. And don’t expect me to be sober.
